I am happy you were able to try this special chocolate. Its good to know it actually tastes great so it’s worth it for a special occasion. You can hear the quality in the chocolate with that snap it makes

I picked up some of their bars, probably 15-years ago at World Market. The brand has been one of my favorites since.

Valrhona was always suppose to be one of the top chocolates but I’m not quite sure. I wouldn’t mind tasting any one or all of them . Thanks, I appreciate you buying and tasting for us. Have a delightful day.

So yes, Valrhona is one of the top couverture brands in craft chocolate! (And I've had all three and love them!) And if you're interested in getting Valrhona for less money, I highly recommend checking out Chocosphere? They sell most of the line in bulk so while it's not cheap, it's much cheaper per pound. (Also the Caramelia craquantes/pearls are amazing for topping cookies and sundaes!) Though can I ask why you ate the bars in this order? I hope that doesn't sound rude in text, more going from Caramelia 36% to Bahibe 46% would really intensify the Bahibe's darkness. So if I had these three together I'd eat the Bahibe first, Caramelia second, and the Dulcey third. I'm curious what you'd think of them in that order!

I took the Chunnel train from London to Paris for 1 day on my own. Left London early and returned around 8pm. It was great, but yes it is not cheap. That chocolate looked so good, not cheap either, but cheaper than going to France.

I’ve tried this brand when I was in France. But I honestly don’t remember how they were priced in comparison to others. I ate my weight in toblerone while I was there (I was young and the novelty of the shape was more important than quality obviously)…I do remember that 😂.

This brand is premium and expensive. They have a huge variety. I bought some as part of a chocolate gift box which I created for my wife as an Xmas present. She loved them I didn’t have any😭. In sure you’ll like these but not sure if it’s worth the price. I paid between £5 to £7 per bay from an online store although I’m sure you can find these at whole Foods. 🤣I wish I traveled more. Last adventure was in December, a lifetime so🤪 Thanks for the review.

I used to work at NYC a Michelin star restaurant and they used this chocolate in their desserts, (which cost like $20 for a slice of chocolate cake, for example) --if that gives you a sense of their quality/price typically
