The song "The heart knows / Sirds zin" was commissioned to the Latvian composer Valts Pūce by vocal group PUTNI in 1999 and premièred in the same year. It is a simple story about a lonely heart who remembers the places where it was happy and wants to return to... The author of lyrics Latvian poetess, actress and singer Raimonda Vazdika has made a simple choreography for the performance of this piece herself. The current video was made by Latvian Television for the concert dedicated to all the people who are born on the 18th of November - the same date Latvia celebrates its birthday.
