On the one hand Chris says letting one position get to half of the portfolio is risky, and then he says ideally you wouldn't touch it. I'd love to understand more about this seeming contradiction. Apple is 44% of Berkshire's equity portfolio and I'm sure Buffett isn't losing sleep.

While others are on the trail of 100 baggers, I appear to be on the trail of the Stock compounder. Good to see you here, I think that means I'm doing something right. Learning tons from your channel, sir.

36:46 great section! "I am a person who loved to go to conferences. Berkshire Hathaway was a big networking event I go to every year. Of course, I couldn't do that this year... all that stopped. I find value in those kind networks because I enjoy meeting and speaking with other investors about ideas..."

Excellent interview! Management & business economics…. Monster, Dominos, Google, BRK, Macdonald’s. I personally like the franchise model of Starbucks, Taco Bell, Chipotle. Wonderful business economics that can be transferred into above average ROIC. What a gem “dividends are expensive luxuries” Thanks!! ❤❤❤

Chris mentioned that his kill criterion is lots of debt. Actually, those hotel names he mentioned have high debts. Any comments?

I am not Chris but I would guess they also own real estate. This only only gets really attractive return-wise if you use debt.

Hi there, see the link I left before, Brad did a great job getting all Chris' positions together, there is one missing that I know of, Dino Polska, and quite a few are very dear PE wise so you could hold off a bit, but Constellation is still there, and so is Topicus which Chris would have got in the spinoff, but I know he plans to keep that one too. He likes Copart a lot but the PE is about 60 now, if it just got to 40 I'd start nibbling a bit of that. Evolution AB seems pretty good and the PE is about 20 now, that might be worth doing. You could also look up SVN investing run by Shree Viswanathan, I don't have his full list but him and Chris are buddies and buy the same or similar stocks. Nice thing is Chris is trying to buy these things for a decade so we should get a chance to get in some of these at a better price. Also, as Chris started this fund in 2019 you can know that 2019 onward is the sort of price range he got in at for these companies

@@GoodInvestingTalks any proven record of how successful his investing has been? I mean we all know about the net worth of Warren Buffett and his investment history, including most of his ups and downs. So, Warren Buffett has been offering us both theoretical and practical investment education. The author of this book gives generally good advice, but any practical lessons from his investment history?

@@brainstormer2520 His book researches and analyses the typical characteristics of stocks that have already increased by 100x, in order to learn lessons from history. So he doesn't necesarily need to have picked any 100x stocks himself if he is simply communicating some historical analysis. But if you are interested in his returns you can probably find them given that he runs a fund.
