I actually run a desalination unit that creates 7.6 million gallons of water a day. It's literally 2 sets or pumps and 2 sets of membranes. It cover a footprint equal to a suburban house.

There is no issue with the Earth the Earth will provide for us all even if it's the population is twice of what it is now, there's plenty of water. You can turn dirty water into pure drinking water with the filters and other things even saltwater. Do you know how much salt water they pump back in the ground from the oil wells. In one month I'm sure there is more than a million gallons of saltwater pump back into the ground through the injection Wells. And that is a waste when we should be purifying it and that's without using ocean water. There's plenty good drinking water it's just not plentiful like it was in the 1800s. If the global warming people would have kept their mouths shut we would have plenty water and resources to clean up polluters on the way. It's only propaganda and a political tax they want to start everyone to pay globally. These people need to look at the bigger picture, it's called Global government and one King that runs the world. How can that be whenever we can't even decide on a president to run a country. One is not worth a crap and the other one isn't much better to run a country. I can't wait until there is a Global president that way there is no constitutional rights for nobody you just become a slave❤ again😅 as of now everybody's fighting at each other in the countries😅 Jesus please hurry up and get here and take me and a few others with you and leave that trash behind🙏

Prices are high because of logistics. Too many people want to live in big cities. If our population was not concentrated like this it would be easier to feed. A single traffic jam could affect New York’s food supply while more rural cities are easier to get to.

Hoarding water??? A complete waste of time. All the water we’ve ever had on Earth is all the water we’re ever gonna have. It evaporates from the oceans, the clouds move over the land, and the vapor condenses into rain (snow, hail, etc), falls to the ground and makes its way back to the oceans. The molecular bond of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom (H2O-water) is one of the strongest that exists. It is chemically impossible to run out of water.
