Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game in which two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team known as the "Ancient" whilst defending their own. As in Defense of the Ancients, the game is controlled using standard real-time strategy controls, and is presented on a single map in a three-dimensional isometric perspective. Ten players each control one of the game's 124 playable characters, known as "heroes", with each having their own design, strengths, and weaknesses. Heroes are divided into two primary roles, known as the core and support.

it's a known bug, illusions, disconnected heroes and free items, they have done this with meepo and WD already, I guess people are just trying the same trick with any hero

@@adriangutierrez441 I mean, yes and no. TI's been won with bugs before. No lines have been drawn on this. I don't think valve would let a bug this big win the tournament and the match be reset, seriously doubt they would disqualify a team for it. Also doubt they're going to ban anyone that got to do this in pubs either. Since they didn't hack.

With TI valve has final say on bug vs feature and you go to valve before ti to get their ruling. If they say it's fine you can use it and valve doesn't tell other teams, if valve says no they tell all teams about it and that it's not allowed

Well, with the book from Warlock, if you full slotted your inventory, and then Shaman and SD must disconnect, someone then needs to control them and basically make illusions, the illusion will then be able to use the book, but the game thinks no since illusions arent suppose to use items so the game just forced the illusions to drop it at the fountain

There's been a similar bug you can do with Meepo and his neutral item slot. My guess is that because they've dc'd that the game confuses itself when the Warlock player takes control of the dc'd heroes and some funkiness then goes on with ownership of items after the illusions/chickens come into play

Warlock has to get his backpack full then disconnects, the other player spawns illusions from warlock, tada! The neutral item is now dropped on the ground. And since it's neutral other people can use it

@@raulmontero8736 Yes, you have to disconnent allowing other player to take control of your hero. The game then confuses of the neutral slot of the illusion which should not exist because the owner is now not a warlock, so it try to move the item back into the backpack, and since warlock backpack is full. The item is now on the ground instead

they actually play the game. bugs that affect gameplay are a strikingly rare occurrence. I never saw this bug in-game, i've been playing hard all month, and it was removed 7 hours before this video was uploaded

also, if it was ranked. they'd probably hit the 5 cumulative minutes of disconnection abandon penalty. even if you reconnect a bunch of times, the 5 minutes are still adding up

Great example of why Dota 2 needs a "hard ban" option that someone at Valve CS can go through and manually confirm. Parties like this need to have their accounts completely revoked. So toxic, so disrespectful to the game and the other team.

How is this cheating? Valve has defined Dota by the game they distribute. They dont have any reference documentation that describes the game for which we can dispute gameplay anomalies. If the game allows it, then it is NOT cheating.

Even if you somehow discover this bug by yourself, how the fuck it is funny or competitive way to play? What the reason to play if they don't care about game itself and all they need is "+ few cheated numbers in mmr" or "oh look my level much higher wow thats...wow i guess".
