@StillPlaysWithCars_ this is definately one of the rougher ones Ive done. Good luck! Mark your hoses and connectors if you need to, that helps a lot with reassemble.

I'm doing this exact job today but on a 2003 Galant 3.0. I'm not looking forward to it but this video definitely will help. I will report back the results after I'm done. Thanks. *Update: it took 5 hrs and the car runs the best it has. This guy knows his stuff, here he says its not a tutorial but trust me it works just like one. Just do it in the order he does and if you are confident doing a 4-6 hr job watch this and give it ago.

@@MegaMilesBenit took 5 hrs outside in 32 degree weather but it's done and running as good as ever. Your tips definitely helped. The only time I got snagged was trying to get the old gasket out of the front cover, it took 30 mins, it was hard as a rock from being old plus cold out. I lightly waved a torch over it and it eventually got it out. Thanks, I wasn't sure what I was getting into but watching your video gave me the confidence to do it.

That looked like a PITA job. I believe after doing one like that, I would have plenty of good reasons to not do another one. Good video though. ✌🏻

The hardest part really is figuring out how to get to the back side bolts, besides that, theyre not all that bad. Hopefully the tips in this video will shorten the time I spent for others.

Awesome video. Thanks so much for taking the time to record, edit and post this up. Now i know what i am in for and those 6 gotcha bolts on the back side. I just have the valve cover and spark plug gaskets and grommets. Did you have to replace the intake and that little pipe gaskets/ buy new ones or reuse old ones?

@tonyneises5195 I reused the intake and throttle body gaskets. They were in really good condition and havent been an issue.
