Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. It consists of nine classes, Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, and Spy, and two teams, Red and Blu. The teams try to take the others' objective, such as an intelligence brief case, or a control point.

TF3 is legitimately coming by the way, it's called Neon Prime and will be a futuristic shooter. Looks like we will not get the Counter Strike 2 treatment, and instead we're getting the Half Life: Alyx treatment. Also yes I clickbaited you and I will continue to do so until KZfaq makes the algorithm not completely based on how often you guys click, but that's a pipe-dream.

They will have to agree with EA. EA is the one that hosts the PS3 servers, whereas Valve runs the TF2 Xbox 360 servers.

Well, PC exists so this isn't really a loss at all. I was worried, but immediately calmed down when you mentioned how the post was crap and talked about the PS3. TF2 is one if those eternal games and will always live. It will live for as long as Valve lives and will live on no matter how many years go by.

I used to play TF2 on PS3 for hours then I heard that got shut down so I panicked but then I realized I had to get a laptop for virtual learning in 2020 so I just used that to play it. Sometimes Covid has its benefits.

League of Legends is almost as old as TF2 now, and Riot games has done a great job expanding the universe into other content (including a fucking TV show). TF2 can't even get consistent updates or even developers working on it. It could have been even more of a cash printer if they tried. I don't understand big corporations.
