This is the most in-depth storyline i've seen in a 4 minute video. The fact that it represents humans with mistakes as monsters, that some cannot see us for who we are but rather judge a book by it's cover and run away from us makes me sad. And the ending where the kid managed to escape to the sunny field realising he himself had regrets and eventually turned to a monster, joining the others just ruined me. Wave goodbye for the last time knowing you'll never be accepted by some and continue living your life in hope.

I don't think ever cried so hard in my life.This hit me hard and fucked me up well after this had ended. But it also gave me hope which is a rare thing for me to feel when it comes to music in general. It reminded me of everything of my past and most of it I've tried to forget. This piece of art just released alot of built up emotion and sadness so fast it's unbelievable. It was very powerful to me personally and I'm great full.

it always seemed to me that bloodsea kid was part of the "monsters", but now im doubting, was he actually one of them or did they get to him in the end and thats when he transformed into one of them?

Personally i don't think any of them as "monsters". my theory is that they were all normal people at first but became deformed for some reason. I feel the monsters were chasing after the 2 boys, not to scare them, but because they were lonely. That's why the naked kid was smiling at the end because he was finally rescued from his loneliness. but that's just a theory.. A G-

@@jaedenmosley2327 5 years late, but i agree. it's like he "found his tribe". a more specific interpretation i have for this is how in japan being "positive" is the norm and being "negative" (read: showing emotion, "weakness", sadness etc) is frowned upon, and the dressed kid would be a "normal" person trying to get away from "negativity" and the naked kid (maybe naked for a reason) is a highly sensitive / depressive person. the dressed kid tries to "save" him from "negativity", but when he embraces the darkness in himself and joins the "monsters" is when he is truly no longer lonely.

@@dedemushi7824 I personally thought of it as a metaphor for loss. I think that the naked boy was maybe the other boy's brother who died, and so the boy used a ritual to "bring him back" without knowing the consequences, so kind of denying that he was ever gone and pretending like he's still there. As for the part where the monsters show up, I thought of them as problems that arose from said brother's death, possibly representing anxiety, depression, etc. So the boy tries to escape it all before finally accepting the naked boy is gone, where the boy falls apart and waves with the monsters right before he reaches the field. I think that represents how even though he's gone, you can still find happiness (the flower field) without him; his wave even represents that he *wants* that for him. Sorry if this is some weird ramble because it's late, and sorry for being 6 months late to this discussion. It truly is an amazing song
