Vampire was one of my favorite TTRPGs growing up, but except for Bloodlines there hasn't been any game that's actually able to capture the feel of the original. it's not about mechanics, it's the feel, the themes, the Style. This one had my attention, but it seems I'll have to wait a bit for that really good vampire game to come still.

Good choice. I tried it, and as well as the variety of other issues the mouths move completly independantly of the voices - straight up feels like an Alpha at times.

Same, I’m SHOCKED how bad it is for a game coming out in 2022. The character models and graphics are also unacceptable in comparison to Detroit Becomes Human and Until Dawn.

I always liked the VTM world and wish they'd have done more with it over the years. Lately it seems, at least in gaming, they are trying to do more. Quality is debatable on some of the projects, but I can overlook a lot when it comes to settings I like. Thanks for the review, I was really curious about this game and there are not many reviewers I trust.

Blood hunt is a good shooter but it’s ugly and let’s be real here; it’s a BR. A BR with a small community at that. The biggest shame of bloodhunt is that it’s a good shooter, but not a great one.

Am sure this will be a rough gem after a discount. Loved vampyr to death and that was rough around the edges too (tho it seems not as much as this). If you haven’t checked that one out before I highly recommend it as it should sate your vampiric appetite for now.

If you've never played Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines you should check it out if you're on PC. It's an older game so its a bit clunky and buggy but considered a classic rpg. Part 2 is scheduled to come out later this year no sure if thats still on track though

That would be awesome, I imagine having the Beast talking and arguing with the player the same way emotions do in DE. Being isometric would mean less resources spent on graphics that could be used on Voice/Audio

I'm more fascinated with people's fascination with vampire then vampires themselves. Recently bought Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver and am enjoying its take on vampires. Wish more were like it then Twilight.

30 Days of Night have a more feral take on vampires. Even the source material this was based on have added their own twist to the vampire lore which is basically true as well with the whole World of Darkness.

The graphics look a bit off, but I'd like to think that this game is similar to how KH 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage was to KH3, or how MGS Phantom Pain was TO MGSV: A demo disguised as a full game as a means to test new gameplay mechanics.
