I remember the cycling proficiency test. You had to take your bike into school and prove you could ride safely on the road. The one and only time I think I've ever cycled on the road.

Yep, remember there being a road layout with roundabouts and junctions chalked / painted onto the school playground. Loved it - it also involved a rare ride to school and back because roof racks for bikes weren’t a thing back in the eighties…..😂

My sons junior school still did cycling proficiency seven years ago. I did it 45 years ago.😂

I remember the cycling proficiency test and I took mine in the 70's. Both my children 18 and 15 took an equivalent thing when they were in primary school. Around here around May time every year you see groups of kids on the streets round local schools doing it all in their high Vis jackets

You're gonna have to think of what your gonna show us after the Van vlogs, as its gonna be hard to beat, i love them. Please Nick wear a face mask when using your sander, dust can affect your lungs 🫁 . Great vlog guys ❤❤

Our cycling proficiency training was conducted in the school playground at Marton County Primary School in the early to mid sixties by the village Bobby Terry Fairbanks.

You hv done an absolutely amazing job, wow. Its something I wanted to do but absolutely Never will after watching...seriously hi level commitment, patience and capability that most of us mere mortals lack. Yep, I did my cycling proficiently test! At my school we do bike ability, its literally no different that what I did years ago!

You could use the plastic sheeting for the shower they do some lovely ones marble effect etc

I remember the cycling proficiency test Nick. I can’t ride a bike but I remember everyone that did it disappeared off in hi viz vests on. No helmets…it was the early 80s 😂

Hi guys yes Me hubby did cycling test to. Don't worry leigh when we bought van I was same and your van bigger just takes little time to get use to. But then again perhaps me and leigh could start off a driving van test xxx

Totally agree Nick. SNW musical was crappie! Buffy was the best. Liked the lower decks crossover episode even though am not a fan of that show. Good luck with the rest of the van conversion can't wait for the travel vlogs in it x.

Absolutely did a Cycling Proficiency Test. No idea what you are doing for bedding but I saw a van/caravaner using a Duvalay. He loves his. Being in the US I had never heard of them but you probably have as they are a Yorkshire based company. Van is coming along and looking great. 🤞 no more leaks. Just a thought, maybe the force of the wind as you drove along pushed the water in especially as it didn’t leak through torrential rain when it was parked.

Surely I didn’t hear you say you tried watching the second season of Heartstopper, and that it was boring. As wonderful as the first season was, the second season is 10 times as good. That being said, even with the recurring leaks, it looks like you made quite noticeable progress on the van in this vlog. And after working that hard, I would be too exhausted to actually cook anything and would probably just microwave something. 😆
