Your videos are a great source of photo advice and motivation. You are a super role model, and for that I thank you. That said, as a cardiologist I cannot stress strongly enough that you and everyone else should stay as far away from Red Bull and other highly caffeinated beverages as possible. If you need a pick-me-up, I suggest you take your own advice and go for a walk and listen to the birds and critters who are talking to you. All the best.

Interesting work, you done. I never converted a car into a camper, but inside I wouldn't need wood. Reason one: Over the time the boards can be warped. Reason two: Wood isn't fire resistant. One tip for you, when you drill into wood: Fix a second board (you don't need anymore) under the board you have work on. Now you can drill in one time. That's much easier. Regards, Dirk.

Template! If you cut the cardboard to the width of the exposed “tongue & groove” then hold in place where your actual length will go and slowly cut away the cardboard. Then you have your cut out to draw onto your wood. Fun to watch. 👍

This reminds me of when I built a shed from scratch with no plans, absolute nightmare it was, and i was so glad to see the back of it. That much, I only half painted it... That was a year ago haha well played. Loving the work and cant wait tio see you out and about in your van!

You’re doing well. You might want to purchase a contour gauge if you have more circle or difficult cuts to make, the gauge will give you fast and accurate cuts.

Hi Henry, the van is coming along great, but, get yourself a new saw mate, maybe mention B&Q or something in your video and you will perhaps find one sitting at your front door hahaha. Oh yes, while I remember, I am sure you can buy a wood putty or something that would fill in those wee spaces around the vent and give it a much nicer finish. Keep going , your doing amazing, love watching how your progressing 😁👍

Apologies if this has been said in another comment already, or if you have plans to sort it at a later date. But you might find it easier to sand all those ceiling planks before you finally install them. If they are screwed in you could probably remove them and do it. I would def recommend sanding them down, as they looked quite rough and splintery still, even if you don't plan to paint them. You'll be glad of the extra effort down the line I'm sure. Lights look great though, as does the new window!.

Looks like you are advancing well Henry! Learning while you build is always difficult, it'll make it easier next time LOL! Advice #1... buy a new saw, it will make a world of difference in the ease & quality of the cut.

Henry Turner, Your ‘Blue Jay’ is coming along! I already admire your Photo/Video skills, and now I admire your attention to details, and the way you fitted those boards like you did. 👍 Having worked in the Trades, as a Trim Carpenter in another season of Life, I admired your ability to cut those boards around that light. Cardboard templates are always good. I might suggest using a utility knife to cut it out; easier than scissors, and more accurate! When you were drilling with the hole saw, you could have reamed the hole more, by moving the drill side to side, and maybe saved you from having to file? Juss sayin... Awesome work! That’s gonna be one cozy Van! Crack on! Cheers from across the Pond. Stay Safe and Healthy! 👍👍👍✌🏻🔨📷🚙🇬🇧🇺🇸😁

Hey Henry! We're polar opposite from each other. Me: former carpenter / aspiring photographer. You: photographer / aspiring carpen...(.?.) Ha, I think not. It's KILLING me watching you struggle with your old hand saw. Like me using my 100 year old antique wooden tripod instead of my iFootage Gazelle! Wish I could drop in to help you so you could get back out and do what you do best. Keep up your signature attitude! It helps me when I switch from Auto to M! Yikes! Ha!

Happy to watch your progress, and glad to hear you'll be upgrading your stereo. As a lover of music, I appreciate and insist on a decent system in my vehicle. If I may ask - Henry, what type of tunes do you enjoy?

Much appreciated! Mostly rock music Tim, but I enjoy plenty of genres too

@@HenryTurnerphoto My preferences range from Bach to Rock and beyond! Make sure you get a quality subwoofer that puts out a clean, clear bass signal. You'll be glad you did. While we're talking music, I must mention also how much I love your choice of background music on the videos. Perfectly moody. It enhances the visual impact.

Hi , Nice and very informative video! Would you mind to give me a little advice? I’m going to install 3 lights in my renault trafic van. Question is. The old lights has a 3 core cable and most of led lights has only red and black wire. How can I install 2 wire led into 3 wire circuit? Many thanks
