+LB AB bro Your'e right about this, but it isn't only this industry it's all industries, including those in the medical profession and religion. It's an illness, this money junky mentality, we are inspired by it and held back by it at the same time. I hope the next generation escapes this, hopefully we teach our kids the right things.

For those of you who don't know....this is from Kickboxer, not Bloodsport. This is during his training with Xian. This was during Van Damme's prime.....Actually, during No Retreat, No Surrender is when he was his most crisp shape but he didn't known until his Bloodsport and Kickboxer days. After Universal Soldier, he was pretty much done but I've always been a fan of his movies.

What's difference between a dojo and an MMA gym? One is to learn how to fight; the other is to learn to bring mind, body, and spirit together. One desires violence, the other acknowledges it, and brings spiritually so that it may learn it's place. One seeks to go fight, the other seeks to be ready for when the seeker comes. No matter how much we desire the ideal world where we think we can convince others to eliminate violence, violence, hate and anger will come. Just as you learn not to eat certain things, because they will cause harm, so should you not walk into the world expecting that there are no harmful people out there. Do you drive a car on the road before learning to handle it? Do doctors refuse to study medicine, because they don't want to acknowledge illnesses exist and want to imagine we live in a perfect world? Do you not buckle your seat belt, because you think that you and other drivers around you are safe enough drivers that you don't need to? Accidents don't happen on purpose; harm doesn't usually give you a way to avoid it, just as how hateful people, robbers, gang members, rapists, and bullies aren't negotiable members of society that will schedule an appointment with their victims.
