I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the field, you're a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad.

Van Dijk is good, but not amongst the best of all time, please. He had one or two seasons where he was really on top of his game, no doubt. But GREAT defender, their class is permanent. You can talk like Vidic, Ferdinand, Terry, King, Ramos, Thiago Silva, Nesta, Maldini, Pepe, Zanetti, Puyol, Samuel. Until their end of career, they don't look like they're diminishing from their prime years. You better not saying he's the best of all time or the goat because he is nowhere NEAR Beckenbauer achievement. Nobody does.
