I love the contrast between the two self portraits- the first full of colour fragments and the second more certain both in his drawing, and in himself as an artist and as a man.

First and foremost, I'd like too thank Grace Adam and Joshua White for their highly interesting description of the exhibitions and works of art featured in their fabulous KZfaq videos. Van Gogh in Britain is no exception. I truly enjoyed the close-ups of the paintings and drawings by the Dutch Master while listening to Ms Adam and Mr White: the information they provided was truly engaging. Van Gogh's time in Britain as an assistant of the London Goupil branch and later, as a teacher in Ramsgate and a lay preacher in Isleworth, has always fascinated me. As Louis van Tilborgh once said, 'The Van Gogh we know was born in London'. Many thanks to all involved !
