Thanks for thinking of others at this awful time. For those like me who live alone, isolation is normally something to be avoided but is now imperative, especially if you’re in the higher risk category. So to be able to lose yourself in a craft project like this is very good for the mind and soul. It’s hard work being happy at present but craft things that you have to concentrate on are really good. It’s a lovely idea for all 🙏🌸🤗

I absolutely love your free style tapestry. When I decided to try weaving I wanted to avoid the constrictions of patterns and do something creative and original. While following your videos, I have attempted my own design. I am reaching completion and am amazed at how much I have learned from you. And although it has taken awhile I realize it is about the pleasure of the journey not the speed in which it is completed. If you would like I will share a photo of it when it's done. I can't tell you how much I love your opening message: it's so calming and uplifting---which is sort of the point, right? The absolute most important aspect of any situation, any time, is to focus on the positive, ay? For starters, positivity is inherently better than negativity; and, study upon study upon study shows that positive outlooks have quantitatively measurable benefits on mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical health. So thank you for putting positive energy and happiness out into the world for us all to share! With regard to your comment about whether or not it matters if the warp is always absolutely covered in a tapestry, it's my feeling that tapestry is an art form, and therefore up to the discretion of the artist. In other words, you can do what you like with your own art, yes?

I like the concept of using art to inspire color choice, texture, and movement. Very interesting! It will be fun to watch your tapestry evolve, Kelly. Looks like your sett is 12?
