EVH is the master behind the keys as well ya'll. I heard that that's how he writes songs and solos for guitar!!?? EVH won all state piano completion twice in a row when he was a kid, and he's a drummer as well. He's been on fire ever since. RIP Eddie. Love you man!

My favorite Van Hagar song. It kind of made it possible to forgive myself "...slipped a little off your pace." Alex crushes this song.

The Van Hagar era was special "live." I almost feel it's a disservice to the band not doing their live performances because the energy and synergy was unmatched! Great reaction as always!

RIP Eddie 😇 There's the Official Band Video that's very entertaining🎸 Sammy took Michael Anthony (Bass) and still works with "The Circle". Best concert I ever saw was them at Harvy's Lake Tahoe in 2018. $50 festival seating😎 I will go to my grave that Sammy beats DLR. DLR is a Showman and Sammy is a Musician They can still play Van Hagar because he has writing credit💲

Saw this tour in Dayton Oh. The keyboards at least weren't backing tracks. Fitz from Night Ranger was on this tour, you could see him just off stage playing .

Very generally speaking, people used to be more patient, so music could unfold in a way that developed more tension and sense of drama. You really see that in the live Phil Collins version of In the Air Tonight, from France.

The keys are more of the focus on the studio version or just watch the official video which is cool. This song was used by Pepsi to launch the Pepsi clear back in the day. Cheers

You should check out the official video for this song. It's got a great message. Also, the singer, Sammy Hagar, gets a bad rap, but he brought a cool vibe to the band. By the way, Sammy was the lead singer of band you just reacted to, Montrose., Rock Candy kicks ASS.. Sammy can belt it OUT. May I suggest reacting with headphones, Dee would pick up the vocals more.

At First He Got A Bad Rap ( Sammy ) but It Worked and Very Well !! It Was Gary Cherone Who Really Got The Bad Rap !! Love Gary Cherone's Vocal's With Extreme ( The Band ) !! I Saw Them on The Van Halen 3 Tour and He Sang Both Dave and Sammy Tune's ( Which He Did Very Well ) I Was Hoping It Would Work but Unfortunately it Didn't !! He's Still A Good Singer !!

Although I did do the Van Halen worship(like most rockers)when they exploded on the scene in my HS days, I personally could not get past frontman David Lee Roth's resemblance to the band" Black Oak Arkansas" lead singer Jim Mangrum. Loved their music as well, but was so repulsed by Mangrum that it made me grossed out by Roth. Loved when Sammy took the reigns, as in this era of Van Halen. Hope I didn't piss off anyone.

I've loved Sammy Hagar since Montrose but I gotta say, when he was in Van Halen he wore some of the tackiest outfits ever. He looks like he came right out of Weird Al Yankovic's Tacky video. LOL
