my state of michigan is pretty screwed up but at least we don't have to deal with inspections. I would bet 50% of what is on the road in my area would not pass. Great vids 👍

I'm from Michigan also and I totally agree I see some vehicles I can't believe are still on the road.

I find it comical that negative comments usually come from people who take sport in picking apart others' work but never seem to produce any of their own 😅 Good job, young man. Keep up the good work!

Fighting the rust in Maine is a never ending battle. My 10 year old Chevy 2500 is almost at a point of no return to a junkyard.

I always redo wheel bearing nuts from scratch. Bearings are a consumable part. So best to redo to specs rather than end up loose due to wear.

There are similar problems on anything parked near salt water shoreline.. I've wanted to do a 4 door van / flatbed, this helps me visualize. Thanks for sharing.

Just snap the cotter pin by turning the nut..... or burn the nut off with the torch. The van came out really nice, glad you got your hard plates.

I never unhooked a battery before welding. The thing is if your welding the exhaust and ground the rocker panel your going to fry shit. I keepy ground close to what's getting welded.

I used to weld nuts onto shit I was trying to get out. I've found bolts make for more successful removal. The bolt you get better weld penetration into whatever your removing because you weld around outside

Random and not really related, though was wondering if you knew of any 5x100 lug rear wheel hubs that would be closest to 25mm (~1") spindle hubs for like the HF folding 1195 or 1720lb trailer? Looks like Chrysler PT Cruiser and some years of VW Jetta and others are the same or similar style. I want to use with my Prius and got a great deal on an auction with most everything present 1195lb kit. Wheel hubs are on back order and gets me thinking why not use a more common and matches my already have rims and tires so I always have a spare with me for them all. Anything else come to mind doing so I better consider? I really do not like trailers, though figured I better keep the 2006 one cleaner on the inside so to keep with the previous owner love shack design until I find me one. 🙂

Good stuff, tech here from Ontario (rust belt). You really need to get a set of torches! A lot of these fixes/problems could have been avoided with a torch set. Get oxy propane. It's safer and easier to fill than oxy acetylene. Heat is you best friend with rust. If something starts to give me a hard time. A little heat and rusty stuff comes right apart. Don't mean to hate i think the truck is looking really good. I just thought you would safe yourself a lot of head ach by getting a torch and cart.
@redneckcomputergeek8 ай бұрын
I have had 2 sets and given both away over time. My channel actually has one of the top search hit propane conversion videos. Yes torches are the right tool but money wise the tank fill cost is not worth it in my area. Plus a good pilot arch plasma cutter will do the same thing in a pinch. Working on a video showing that soon.
