First pork spit roast I cooked over a campfire I forgot the motor to turn it so my daughter volunteered to turn it by hand for 3hrs 😅

Spit roast is definitely on the fancy side of fire-cooked meals, bit of extra kit and effort needed, but this one looks delicious! Awesome choice if you're taking some good time to cook

First point, if you don’t like Tassie weather, come back in five minutes.. Two, what’s wrong with a can of cordial??? Three, if you laugh at a jackjumper it will attack you! Or if you’re just in its vicinity… they hate everyone! And lastly, CBCo IPA is the best beer on the planet! I don’t understand why they changed their name from Colonial, but that’s not for me to say… oh, and I prefer the old six packs to the new four packs…

Can’t beat a camping SPIT roast. Flavour always seems to taste so much better.

The interesting thing about Miso & Vegemite- Miso is made from fermented soy beans mixed with yeast & a type of fungus (kinda like mushrooms I guess?). Vegemite is made from fermented yeast extract...so in a bizarre way there is a similarity except Vegemite is laden with salt. Great work you guys, great location & wonderful, almost Thunderbirds like use of the RC Delica!!! ✌️🙏👍

i like to be barefoot when camping as well but i always manage to stand on a hot coal around a fire at some time. This is true. Then I spit chips about it and get lectured by everyone about wearing shoes around a fire.
