Bob, still like to watch your wide variety of uploads. But I gotta bug you again and ask, WHERE IS THE VIDEO SERIES TALES FROM THE MAINFRAME?! LOL. I hassle you in friendly terms about it. About 2 or 3 times every month I rewatch that only video you did about IBM Kingston. From what I’ve read that campus has had even more former big blue buildings demolished. What a shame. It’s incredible even just in my short lifetime, to see that company go from king of tech, the smartest of everything company, making money in every market it had product in, and employing whole communities of America with a happy workforce into what it is now, probably 1/8 of the amount of employees it had in the 80s in the New York area, barely making any hardware and what hardware they do offer is mostly made up of components not even made by them anymore. Last I knew hardware was less than 10% of IBM’s business according to Gianni Rometty in 2018. But seriously, I and certainly many others are dying to see this ibm documentary you said was coming shortly back in 2018. Nobody else has done it. It’s so fulfilling to hear what it was like and what went on there. You make it very easy to imagine and picture what you’re saying. So let’s go. I’d kill even to have you be my tour guide their. Thanks Greg! I think from time to time about doing that mainframe video and will get around to it someday. I'm sorry it's taking so long. I apprecitive and thankful that you like my videos. You are right, it is a shame what happened to IBM. Who would have ever thought that would happen. Take care and keep watching 🙂. It's coming.
