I lost my soulmate, the love of my life and my rock on 30/04/2024 so very recently. Van Morrison is who we listened to while chilling in the garden in the summer and our kitchen cooking together when the weather wasn't too good. Gives me warmth and comfort for what is now a lonely and sad time for me 😢❤

Every set list is unique and a treasure. A bucket list item - Van to play a series of shows - all songs are only played just one time - and I’m there every night. That’s pretty close to heaven.

It's great to wake up, get up, turn on your cell phone and start the day listening to Van Morrison with his good and happy music. That man Van Morrison gets everywhere with his music, the people always turn up in large numbers, Van writes the songs, sings the songs, players guitar, piano, and saxophone, I bet that Van could also play the drums

He has aged into a killer jazzman. I have grown-up with him from Them to Van the Man with Brown-eyed Girl, Moondance, Into the Mystic, to Van the Jazz Man. He will live forever!

No argument from me either. However the best drummer he ever had was back a few years in Ralph Salmins, others were/are good but come nowhere near Salmins, who is now with the Waterboys, and occasionally Paloma Faith, among many others.

Near perfect mix. Van is the greatest - in excellent voice here. Nice guitar tones - like the Bo Diddley tribute too. Van's sax playing also sounds better than ever to me. Wonderful concert.

His sax playing has improved, a lot. I was quite surprised, his tone is better and his notes are cleaner.

@@ShakeyWayne Agree on the sax, he has improved (see the recent "Only A Song")...While this mix is awesome it needs to be cranked...Not on a phone, iPod, or anything small...I'm talking a major system (such as what I have), and it holds up.

Last I checked Belfast, N Ireland, birthplace of Van Morrison, is part of the United Kingdom which would make him eligible for knighthood. But knowing the way he feels about fame he couldn't care less.

Van still has great pipes! He has killer music taste too as most artists of his era can no longer hold a massive audience spellbound. This is an impeccable show. His band is super tight and totally righteous. I'm just floored by Van's treasure of a voice as it is singularly iconic. It's a God given gift and the man knows how to use it! Cant help it/ just put a smile on my face and makes my heart feel better. Maybe music will unite us. I think it could! Like imagine Trump and Bernie S. dancing together or holding hands listening to Van Morrison? Dont let those dreams die/ maybe if we concentrate and send out energy to heal (mend broken hearts)/ like from the top down all of us?! Lets spend a couple minutes a day and send out good thoughts to help and heal! If that doesn't help/ we all go voting. Great music and I hope those musicians will send the message out like it was in the 60s. Never give up hope.
