i have a vsx 200 and when i cast sometimes when i cast the roller will catch the line without me manually doing it like the result of a closed bail how do i fix it?

Just got a VS100X2 silver yesterday and all looks OK, not put on a rod yet (need to get the rod). Will be used for shore/surf fishing in Florida soon.
