Recently picked up a 2018 114 Fat Bob and added the Vance and Hines slip ons based on this video. I have a full rinehart system on my road king classic and love their quality and sound, but the sound coming from the Vance and Hines in the videos sounded better to me than the rineharts for the fat bob. The Vance and Hines sound sound great in person and really wake up when you hit he throttle. I'm impressed with the sound while still using the constricted stock headers. One of the things I haven't seen discussed much is the color match of the Vance and Hines script on the slip ons to the stock headers. Really looks sharp and stands out better in person than on the videos. Thanks for the video. Well done!

So, I was able to install cruise control after watching your cruise control video. Now I want to change exhaust. Not sure if I will do Vance & Hines slip-ons . I been looking at the Vance & Hines Grenade exhaust. Haven't decided yet.

so the V&H exhaust are about 10 dB louder than the stock? That's not too loud then. I'm worried if it's over 90 dB

Do you have to do a tune or can u do this keeping the oem intake and factory tune?... Does it voids the warranty? Does it throws any codes?

hey i just got the slipons today. question is.. does the little black original heat sheild still fit on the bike after you put the slip ons on the bike? the heat sheilds that are right where the slip ons attatch to the rest of the pipe

JUST SO YOU GUYS OUT THERE KNOW... I just took a chance and whet ahead and removed the OEM mufflers on my 2018 FatBob... It runs perfect, it sounds awesome for my taste, it doesn't throw any codes and it doesn't run any different than before.... SO.... If what you are looking for is to return the soul (sound) to your souless OEM FatBob... Now you know... (No changes to the intake needed).... I finally feel like I got a Harley and not one of those pussy ass metrics shits.

I test rode one of these bikes last week with the 114 (posted a video on my youtube channel--check it out), and I liked it, but I'm a long-time Yamaha guy....still thinking it over. Lucky for me its cold and snowy where I live for a couple more months. Thanks for the video--subbed!

Thanks for vids. Where is the CAT in the 114, muffler or pipes? Someone told me it was actually in the muffler on this model, doubt but worth the question.

Could you tell any decrease in torque while riding the bike? They sound really good. A guy on a different channel bought a set of short shots with the header pipe replacement & he claimed his bike didn't have as much torque afterwards. What kind of shades are those your wearing friend. Costa del Mars?

I thought these are pre order only right now? I tried to buy Rinehart slip ons but they are backordered until next month. I can't decide between these slip ons or Rinehart.

Are the V & H CARB approved like the Rineharts? My dealer is claiming they won’t honor the warranty if anything other than HD Screamin’ Eagle parts are used.
