Hi y'all! We’re Adam and Kathryn, an adventurous married couple living in a Sprinter van! You can often find us scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos, climbing mountains, cuddling our fur child Kona, and dreaming about Hawaii.
We created Adventures of A+K to help busy, budget conscious, and adventurous travelers maximize their vacation time and money wherever they go through detailed travel guides, vlogs, and resources. Our goal: to help you spend less time (and stress!) planning your trip and more time enjoying it!

As a Vancouver Native, welcome! Porteau Cove is a wonderful place when the weather is good. It's gorgeous, but yes, loud trains there!

We didn't know Canada doesn't have rabies! Good to know because if Canada opens up, we may be going through Canada on our boat this summer!

Make sure to have the rabies shot document! I think we have been asked once, but just in case! And crossing our fingers y'all can go through Canada 🤞🤞🤞

Canada is not rabies free but has a low incidence of rabies because of controls such as asking for proof of vaccination at border control. I believe the US is the same.

Hi guys! Do we need anything besides our US passports to enter Canada from US in our RV? Wondering about the ArriveCan Ap? Thanks so much!

Hi Beth! If you're traveling with a dog you'll need to have their vaccine record and there are some precautions you need to take with their food. I'm not sure if they are doing the ArriveCan app anymore or if you need to show your vaccine record still. Also, you need to be prepared to know what foods you can and can't take into the country.
