In this video, you'll see Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services Engine 2, Rescue 2, Ladder 2, & Engine 1, responding to a variety of emergency calls in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, along with one BC Ambulance Service Emergency Paramedic (BLS) Unit.
In the first clip, Engine 2 responds to a Medical aid call near Main St & East Hastings St. In the second clip, Engine 2 responds to a Fire Alarm Activation with Engine 1 (not seen), while BC Ambulance Service Emergency Paramedic (BLS) Unit 63929 responds to a medical call. In the third clip, Rescue 2 responds to a Medical aid call shortly after Engine 2's call. In the fourth and fifth clips, Ladder 2, & Engine 1, respond to a Report of Smoke on East Pender St, and in the sixth (final) clip, Engine 2 responds to an emergency call near Terminal Ave. Thanks to the Captain on Engine 2 for the wave!
Engine 2 recently was wrapped in a new livery that supports Indigenous, as well as Engine 1 is finally back in service after getting some repairs done to it, and being on display at FDIC.
