There's some that can be beneficial and medicinal and good food, there's some that will kill you, some that will poison you, and some that can make you see things. A lot of psychedelic mushrooms look just like a type of poisonous or just inedible mushroom and if you don't know what you're doing, end up poisoning yourself. Not just with trippy mushrooms but even people looking for something like a meadow mushroom (a common edible mushroom) can end up poisoning themselves picking the wrong thing like a yellow stainer and not doing the due diligence to get the proper identification. I even forgot I used to self harm before shrooms, it just never pops in my head anymore, before it was my first and only coping mechanism, now it doesn't even show up as an option, why do something so permanent when I know the situation and emotion will pass? Before it was impossible, I was addicted to self harming and would take any bad excuse to do it again, I also got over my eating disorder because of shrooms, before eating them I would fast whenever I was too depressed, which made me feel more miserable and feed the cycle.

It's not a cure. It's a crutch. Emotional crutch. There is no single cure for depression because depression is just your body telling you something is wrong. It's up to you to figure out what is wrong with it. I take CBD, it is my crutch so I'm not hammering anyone but what happens if I run out? I am alone without my crutch. Then I will find out if my crutch has brought me to a better place or not.

Im intrigued, i had a co worker that had a similar experience, he was doing “cocopuffs” and out of shape…. But yea he had one recreational shroom trip, he quit the weed and cocaine and its insane like he is extremely fit and healthy now, i used to be skeptical about it but the more I research the more I realized that this is much more common than i had previously thought. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why it is illegal, there would be alot of empty pockets of therapists and lifetime subscriptions to pharmaceutical companies, even if a fraction of people are enlightened after one trip.

To take that thought even further. They have discovered psilocybin mushrooms on almost every single continent. @@ejay7618 I used to live day by day, at night my suicide toughts were extreme, I had already attempted one time and ended two weeks in coma, I regretted everyday the fact that I survived, I didn't relate with this world or anyone in it, I just wanted to die, I would self harm, starve, sabotage, it changed my life because now I'm alive. On shrooms I was able to see how beautiful evolution is, and how much I deserved to exist in this world just to enjoy it, I didn't feel pressure about existing anymore, I felt free.

It s exactly testimonies like this that doctors should be documenting and studying. There's far too much proof on the benefits side of this drug. I did them many years ago as a inquisitive teenager but I've never done them since and a lot of that is down to fear. Fear of how would I deal with this drug after all these years and how my mind has changed, the innocence has been torn away, almost shattered in a way. Being in Scotland there's absolutely no way it would be legalised...

Deems is definitely an amazing thing and it helped me understand so much about this world and how easily people are controlled and manipulated. For me, it made the idea of death less scary because I believe that that may be where your consciousness goes when you pass and that is truly heaven. Hopefully I'm not wrong but I feel like dmt gives you a taste of the tranquility of death and helps you live a more peaceful life while we are still here with a beating heart.

Keeping drugs illegal mostly just stops older people being able to take them. When I was a teenager/20s I could buy all of the drugs, I just took them for a laugh. Now I could actually use them for medical reasons I don't know where to get them.

Just remember you may feel like death is near but all you must do is wait it out safely. All that being said badtripping is when you actually learn, I learned to smile again the first time I had shroom it was 1.5g and it gave me a new understanding of colours and light. Just mentally and physically prepare for it and tread lightly, don't get caught up in bad thoughts but if you do make a tea get comfy and watch karate kid
