45,000-kms...12,000 torchbearers. This video captures the images of the torch relay up to its last few days right at the BC-Alberta border. With Glowing Hearts!
There comes a moment, when my heart must stand alone
On this lonely path Ive chosen,
like a house thats not a home
sometimes when I feel Ive had enough
and I feel like giving up
you willed me to be all I can be
now nothing can stop me
I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one
I believe together well find
I believe in the power of you and I
This is the moment we have dreamed of all our lives
Well be the change we wish from others
Well stand tall for what its right
And in my hearts therell be no doubt
The arms of the world will come reaching out
And embrace me to be all I can be
Now nothing can stop me
I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one
I believe together well fly
I believe in the power of you and I
I believe the time is right now
Stand tall and make the world proud
I believe together well fly
I believe in the power..
I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one
(Of you and I)
I believe together well fly
I believe in the power of you and I
(power)
I believe the time is right now
(Oh you and I)
Stand tall and make the world proud
I believe together well fly (Together well fly)
I believe in the power of you and I
(I believe in the power of you and I)

We do! We're just beat down by stupid politicians and woke idiots. Based on my private conversations with people from all walks of life is we have had it with this utter nonsense? Canadians actually do care about each other and when Trudeau and Liberals are removed Canada will shine again.

Same here. Im thinking of becoming and inspirational speaker, so any likes on this comment will help me gather more courage and maybe help me achieve my goal; performing at WE Day. The world shouldn't be judged by power, discrimination or feelings. All the world is equal and should help be united as one, as Nikki states here. This song always inspires me to keep pushing, and to finally get the courage to tell my girlfriend that I have a massive crush on her. It has shaped me into a better person, who looks up to inspirational speakers, like Spencer West and Nikki Yanofsky herself, as role models. She has inspired me since 2010, and has transformed my life into one of the best things ever. A great girlfriend, great friends, a really good school, and many more things. Thank you for taking your time, and don't forget to like this comment to help me reach my goal of WE Day. Peace out to all of you, and God bless your lives

Watching in 2016 and getting a bit emotional when I realized that I still had my little triangular flag- the Coca-Cola sponsored Manitoba ones- sitting on the shelf next to me. They passed them out at my school and all the classes stopped so we could go watch the torch go past. Not to mention that the instrumental for this was also my gymnastics floor music for several years. Lots of memories here. This song is beautiful, just like our country.

I still am in shock that those two weeks have passed by. It's been over a month and I still want them back. I will never forget those two weeks. Although I could not come to Vancouver I felt the olympic spirit down in Ontario. I hope they come back, I am so greatful that we got the chance to share our backyard with the whole world. Go Canada!

It was amazing and I've never felt or seen so much Canadian spirit before or since. Listening to this song almost makes me cry just reminding me of how proud I am to be Canadian and remembering how awesome those two weeks were! The 2010 Olympics will always have a special place in my heart :) PS. And Nikki has an amazing voice!

I am a proud Canadian but living in Vancouver during the Olympics was the proudest i have ever been to be Canadian. I was fortunate enough to here our natiional anthem twice (Mens Curling and Womens Hockey) live and next to meeting my wife and having a baby this was the greatest feeling i have ever had. The Olympic legacy will be with us for a long time and i for one was proud to be a part of it.

Coming of age nostalgic memories for me. Six years definitely flies by. Remembering the mascot-mania, red mitten-mania, crowd-mania, and that stupid pillar that would not erect in the opening ceremonies. (Plus the clown imitating the malfunction in the closing memories :P ) Good times!

I remember the 2010 Olympic Games. I was a new mom and got to take my son to see the Olympic torch go through Walkerton, on. He was sleeping the whole time but I remember seeing it go through and I was crying like a baby. I tell him to this day he got to be around for the most special Olympic Games in the world. I swear that torch spread magic around our country. Those two weeks were different than any other I have experienced.

I lived in Calgary through the 1988 Olympics here and I was lucky enough to be here again to see the torch relay for Vancouver 2010 pass through - and yes I went down to the route with my red mitts all wrapped up in the Canadian flag to cheer on the torch. I love the fact that it is now 2012 and people are still listening to this song as well as posting how they feel. I wasn t born here but became a citizen in 1981. I call myself canadian and could never consider myself anything but. Je suis fiere de la Canada et tous le monde qui vit ici. i love you Canada.

I must say BC and the city of Vancouver helped to make the 2010 winter Olympics what they were. Thanks again from another 'proud to be Canadian'.

There's no doubt that, for Canadians, the torch relay is a huge part of why the games were such a success. It got the entire country excited about hosting the olympics, and created some special memories on it's own. Future hosts take note: embrace the relay, don't just pass it off as a formality, it can elevate the games from a memory to a truely great moment in so many lives.
