One of the greatest and best tracks of all time! Just amazing! Too bad that she doesn't got a Grammy for this wonderful song! -.-

Vanessa's finest moment. To bad she never quite could get this level of stardom back, she deserved it.
@ART-re1vq6 жыл бұрын
pineapplepeanuts you know I was just thinking about this the other day ... Vanessa Carlton and Michelle Branch are ultimate examples of failed promotions. These two were superstars with endless potential. They had immense talents and get this-- they were young! Prime age for marketing. These young ladies were ripped off if you really think about it. They should have had a largely successful career ahead given that they were of prime age when they started, Michelle 16 and Vanessa 21 I believe. Both careers were done after their sophomore albums. They should have been big names by now, instead they are largely unknown. Love these two! Their talent will always speak for itself.

@@ART-re1vq she hated this song and prefers to work on small independent work. Vice did a video about it 9 months ago you can find it on KZfaq.

She realized that was not the life she wanted. Still makes music but not for the mainstream audience and shes doing great. You should check her album ‘love is an art’ it’s really good.

True. I think Rabbits on the Run was a real game changer in her career... vocally, stylistically. She really grew into her own artistry with that one. But obvs she was very young and rather inexperienced here, so she did tend to sound rather rough, esp in live performances. And esp on a platform like the Grammys. It's understandable.

It seems so wierd to think she didn't take home any Grammys that night... I love Norah Jones but she could've taken one less home! haha :P
@stanbalo3 жыл бұрын
She should have won record or song of the year. Where are Norah's song now..don't hear them anymore. She is overrated to be honest though i kinda like don't know why. Anyway, play the beginning notes of this song and surely u get people buzzing
@fajarzakri49363 жыл бұрын
yeah I do think she should have won all three awards she was up for.
@fajarzakri49363 жыл бұрын
@@stanbalo Norah's sweep was cool and unexpected and obvs she's a tremendously talented musician but when stacked against all of these other songs/albums/musicians... it's also rather puzzling how it happened. I think even she was uncomfortable with being the biggest winner of the night. I do think Vanessa should've won all three awards she was up for. And Dixie Chicks should have won Album of the Year. The other awards Norah did win were deserved though.

Lol I don't know. The band was going with her different version of the song. But if she was actually high that performance, it's amazing how she could play the piano and keep control. Why would she get high when she's about to go to the Grammys though?
