The Greek Vangelis is truly one of the absolute best composers ever lived. His music is beyond beautiful. It's cosmic. I can listen to Hans Zimmer and other composers, but Vangelis has a level of depth in his music that simply isn't touched by other composers. Vangelis you truly are magnificent of the highest order

Damn !! you couldnt say it more properly. His music is COSMIC. Travels in the vastness of space unaltered. Well they arent calling him master just for fun. He can imagine melodies and perform them in a so damn unique way none can. really none and sadly none will after he is gone.

His music is cosmic. But he is not alone. Other human beings translated cosmic energies through themselves, too. Soviet composer Eduard Artemiev is one, Alexandra Pahmutova, Alexei Rybnikov, Raimond Pauls; Michel Legrand; Chaikovsky. And few others created something singular, one or two pieces, not many
@luciaaa2334 жыл бұрын
@@vageliskomninos2723 well he (,and others) are not "imagining" anything. They are the vessels for the Elemental Forces to pass their cosmic rhythms thru ; it's often called "genius"; it is being in touch with the Subconscious, and then the door gets opened

I saw Vangelis walking along a beach with bioluminescence glowing in the sand. I asked, " How do you create your masterpieces?" He put his hands in the air and turned His head up and to the left and right and looked right at me for a moment and kept walking as the wind and ocean was all I could hear. I just stood there. Vangelis does not need to say a word. It's as if the Wind and Ocean spoke for Him. Music is His language. He's a God send. We Love You Vangelis

This wonderful piece of music is so pure, fine and original, it feels like it was created in heaven by angels. It has the power to touch your heart and make your soul soar to high heavens. I first heard this song when I was 8 or 9 and I loved it instantly, but sadly not long after that I lost track of it (because I couldn't remember the name and artist since they were on english and I was a spanish native speaker). From time to time, I tried searching for it, and even when I learned english I took a chance with words like "raindrop" and "instrumental music" but I never succeeded, until today. I hummed the melody to someone, and this person remembered the artist. So now, here I am, 16 years later, filled with memories and happy as ever while listening to this masterpiece ❤

And thus upon crystal shores the angels departed, but wisps of light slowly disappearing into the radiance of the stars. Their like was never seen again, though their unnuterably beautiful voices filtered through the ages, evoking distant memories like forsaken dreams of simpler times softly echoing through the lonely sky, with glints in the tear-stained eyes of those who remember. And now upon those bespeckled shores even the waves soften their ceaseless sigh, and the universe waits, forever in hopes of the angels' return, forever dimmer but for the voices in the far distant sky ...
