This is a digitization of a VHS cassette that had a recording of "Vanguard: A Rocket for Science," a circa 1958 film by the Martin Company. Martin had the contract with the Naval Research Laboratory to build the launch vehicle for Project Vanguard.
The video appears to be missing the end of the film. We have removed the part where the recording froze before the end.

It wasn't reliable, but it could put 45 kg to low orbit (not only 1,5 kg as often believed), very good for a rocket of the mass of a V2, and helped to develop new technologies

This is fairly well done, but it starts with a fallacy. There is no "dark side of the moon". Every part of the moon is dark for about 14 days and sunny for about 14 days. There is a FAR side of the moon, because the same side of the moon faces the earth all the time. However, the moon wobbles a bit, so we can see a total of about 59% of the moon over the course of a month.
