I'm taking you through step by step, on how to start investing with Vanguard index funds, in this COMPREHENSIVE beginners tutorial! We'll go through account set up, buying your first ETF, as well as some of the best ETF's to buy today in 2023.

Vanguard is one of my favorite brokerages. I just wanted to share with you exactly how to begin investing using the Vanguard platform and their low expense ratio index funds. This is one of the smartest ways to invest today, as Warren Buffet and other millionaires recommend buying these low cost index funds and investing in the long term. This is also how I have set up my Roth IRA retirement account, which I recommend you guys do as well.
I'll screenshare with you as I open up a Vanguard account, and purchase some ETFs. A lot of people don't realize that funding the account only puts the money in your settlement account, and it's not actually invested! To invest, you need to take money from your settlement account and use it to purchase shares of an ETF or stock.
We'll go through:
How to set up a vanguard account
Best vanguard ETFs for beginners
How to buy vanguard index funds and ETFs
3 Top Vanguard ETFs
Full Vanguard tutorial
I'll also go through 3 top ETF's that you can buy today, all with extremely low fees and reliable performance.
Thank you for watching!!

I have a question: I was thinking of opening a second investment account to help fund my first house (I am a freshman in college), am I allowed to have two investment accounts if they are at two different brokerages? Say for example one on Brokerage A and a second at Brokerage B. Two completely different accounts at different companies. Can I do that?

Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a $1 million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income...

Unless you’re going to get Into it what if you forget to buy stocks once a month or whatever? I think automated investing would be better for the average person. I don’t know if you can do that with etfs. You can do it with mutual funds though and the expense ratio is .004% for basically the same s&p etf but you need a 3000$ up front initial investment.
