I am a big fan of this tripod. It packs up small - 13.6" and fits in the water bottle pocket of my backpack. That is awesome. It can extend to 51", which is enough for what I need it to do. The K&F extends a bit more, but I wind up leaving it at home more. This is a very good investment for anyone looking to shoot a lot of videos, on the go.

I have not even thought about that. LOL. I wonder how it would do though. I can see that being a nice advantage for nature photography. If you do wind up getting this and trying that, could you let us all know? I will try and get a feel for the this too!

If I understand your question correctly, yes you can. Hope that helps! Just got done shooting videos with this a few minutes ago. It is a great tripod!
