Always love seeing Mike's Night Lords 👍 Would the Normal Move strat work on the warp talons like that? That would have been a Fallback Move because they were in combat with the Biologis. It looks as if the strat could only work if you killed the unit/they pulled you out of combat.

Re: Warp Talons and the strategem at the end of battle round 2, it was read on stream as being "Make a Normal move" but do the core rules not say you can't make a Normal move while in engagement range, only a Fallback move so you couldn't make a move with them while in engagement range of the biologis to then pick them up? Feels like arguing RAW in the strategem but ignoring the core rules is angle shooting and it'll be quickly FAQd if people keep trying what was done here. Definitely doesn't feel like the spirit of the strategem either. Anyways, good game.

The Strat allows you to make a fall back move mate so that's why warp talons work very well in this detachment

You are so excited about the scout 6 Enhancement. But you can not give scout to a Unit which not have it. As the rule for scout says every Modell in this unit needs that ability! For me, this enhancement exist only for the Dark Commune or the Dark Apostel that the accursed cultists can scout with their leader.

37:05 I thought that pistols could only be shot in combat if it’s the controlling players shooting phase, why is he shooting Cypher’s pistols in the fight phase?

They used the points from the most recent update. The Enhancement was "free" because they don't know what it will cost on release. Or they just forgot to factor in the cost listed in the codex

Keep in mind, codex points are worthless, since GW will do a digital update for them.

@@VanguardTactics Basically the difference is "loo"-tent, the American way, and "left"-tenent, which is the British way. Honestly either works. As a British channel, playing a British company's game, and given that the Imperium generallly uses British accents you might expect the British version to be 'correct', but im pretty sure voicelines in all the games and animated shows GW goes with the American pronunciation? Or at very least has used both.

What did we get wrong? And yes we sped through the review to make it engaging. It took us 2 hours to record and 10 hours to edit as it was.

@@VanguardTactics Never mentioned, for the Fellhammer Seigehost, which character was good with the enhancement "Warp Tracer". I assume the Lord Discordant because he has 48 inches on his hellstalker autocannon and he's quick to move up the board. Skipped Vashtorr who got +5 on strength, +1 ap on his strike profile (now -2 AP), +1 toughness bringing him up to 10 toughness which is tougher than most normal vehicles, and his hazardous aura (this is huge because he's now more useful that a daemon prince for just 20 to 30 points more). He was barely mentioned even though he does work with most of the strategems as a Heretic Astrates unit/model. little things here and there. But it still meant a lot to players. I mean CSM is a very popular faction.
