Hey guys 👋 ! I just want to reiterate as mentioned in the video, because after watching it back I feel like someone out there might take it the wrong way; I don't mean to imply that if you don't like it it just means you don't like niche perfumes, I just mean to say that for the general population and the masses, I feel like this is not a mainstream, typical, designer-esque perfume and that's why I think it hasn't jumped off the charts in terms of reviews. Certainly you can be a fragrance enthusiast or a "fraghead" and still totally hate this fragrance. 💗 And if you don't like sweet sugary ouds, you won't like this - and even if you DO, you might still dislike this and it's ok. There are lots of luxurious ouds out there that I really don't like - It's just scented water after all and we're all entitled to our own feelings about a scent 💗

I'm glad you found it helpful!! I've tried it twice and it's worked every time! The only downside is if you get sick of that perfume combo or you decide you want to switch it up. But I tell you, this combination just wowed me every day, I loved it.

Vanilla Royale is everything ! I understand your feelings as I am totally addicted too 🤗 I wear it on its own but I will try with Vanilla28. I just hope Kayali will make it permanent in their perfume line I would be so sad if it is just a limited edition I think it would be a big loss in the perfumery world 😭 cheers from Paris ❤❤

I fell in love with it instantly and I LOVE pairing it with Vanilla 28! I bought a back up, which I do not usually do, since it is limited edition.

I usually hate oud, so I was utterly shocked when I immediately fell in love with this fragrance, I love it. I wear it alone, with vanilla 28 or with bbw vanilla & patchouli body cream.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the famous Vanilla Royale 😊 When this fragrance released, I blind bought the 100ml so fast! When it arrived, upon first spray, I thought "oh geez 😳 what have I done?!" The oud and rum was so strong! Long story short, I now have another 100ml backup bottle 😁 Love this fragrance!!

I'm glad you had a similar experience!!! I think we were all sort of thrown off a bit when we first smelled it lol it was so different to their previous fragrances (except maybe invite only)

Thank you for your well balanced review. Not everyone has the nose for oud/spicy fragrance. But there are those that do love it and it doesn’t mean they are jumping on the bandwagon.

Love this! I’m actually wearing this one today. I never liked Vanilla 28… too sweet… but the new one is great. I love the rum and Patchouli.

I like this one sprayed from about 2 feet away over my clothing. Lasts all day and actually days. I haven’t worn it all day just on skin.

To me, vanilla 28 smells 90% brown sugar and 10% vanilla extract😊

I haven’t smelt mine yet but I’m assuming by some reviews, that it’s as if vanilla 28 and invite only had a baby ? That’s the idea I have in my head anyway lol. Hopefully it lives up to that because I love invite only and vanilla 28 so I’m hoping I’m going to love this too. I didn’t like eden juicy apple because it was too juvenile for me and I really like spicy scents like spice bomb etc.

I smelt on paper and i shied away immediately because I don’t like oud, but maybe next time I’m in store again I’ll try it on my skin🙂

Oud is a type of wood that has a very specific type of scent; it's very heavy and rich and it can come across a little dirty sometimes and other times it can come across very clean. It's warm, it's musky, it's a bit animalic. I hope that helps!! It's also very powerful and there are different types of oud - I'm not an expert this is just what I know :). It's a note that you won't forget once you smell it and it's used in a lot of middle eastern fragrances - along with other things common like tobacco or spices.

So what you are saying is if a fragrance is nauseating on paper they should still try on skin also? I did that once and the whole time walking around in mall I felt sick. Had to go home and shower asap. No thanks 😅

No not at all, as I said paper gives us an idea if we would want to smell it on skin. I’m just saying on paper you’re not getting an accurate depiction of the fragrance. I’ve had perfumes that made me so nauseated or headachy on paper, obviously I’m not going to spray it on myself. I just mean with certain perfumes you can’t just discount it and say “oh, this smells like xyz.” Until you’ve really worn it:)

Kayali fragrance to me is just perfume price tag, body mist longevity. Not worth it at all!

Yes this lasts days on my clothes as well and lingers for a long time. It’s actually pretty strong in my opinion.:) but I can see some of their scents lacking in performance like the musk.
