This is a series I've begun just capturing the ambient scenery from Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games. In the game, if you are outside and leave the controller alone for approximately 2 minutes, the camera will pull away and observe the world.

That eerie piano ambient always chilled my blood, especially when alone in the wild, suspecting every rock to be a bear...

They really did. This was my absolute favorite region in RDR1. The music was incredible with Tall Trees

So sad how much it just sucks in RDR2. It’s my favorite game but aside from the Siberian Husky there’s nothing to Manzanita Post and I’m so saddened by that

What makes storms more impactful is the setting, because of the minimal lights around at this time period, everything is super dark.

I miss how rustic this location was in the original. The cabins and creepy woods behind it. Always used the store before going hunting.

This one one of my favorite areas to design. The Dog is a persistent character- meaning -it is always loaded into memory. One of the only persistent animals in the game.

Why is the dog next to the tree frozen still but the people are moving? Also I love this location when it's raining and I can't believe I'm responding to a 2014 video FML! But the game is just that good i dusted off the old game and I'm glad I did! 👍
