Agasthyam Kalari has been imparting Kalaripayattu training at its Nemom, Thiruvananthapuram location for close to two centuries. The seven generations of expertise has been innovated to suit today's world under the visionary guidance of Dr. S Mahesh Gurukkal, who is also an acclaimed media personality and film director.
The Kalari offers "Nithyam" training of regular Kalaripayattu for students from age 7 in the Southern style that traces its origins to Sage Agasthya. The Kalari is currently the overall champions at the district level and has several state champions and two National Champions among its students.
For people of all ages and physical conditions around the world, the "Nalludal" program is ideal as a Kalari based fitness routine. Hundreds from USA, Europe, Africa and all over India are benefitting from the program which is available online to be conveniently practised at home under the watchful eyes of Aashans who provide individual attention. Or practise can be done at the city centers at Kanakakunnu and Golf Club in Trivandrum.
The women's self defense workshop titled Shakti is conducted regularly at different locations.
