Dr V please consider making a K beauty edition. They make some fabulous NAFE safe moisturizers from brands like Zeroid, Illyoon, Purito, Pyunkang Yul, Mizon, Cosrx, Soon Jung and Benton. A lot of those moisturizers contain ceramides, Niacinamide, centella, green tea extracts and sea buckthorn extracts, etc which are amazing for SOC.

I just bought a large tub of cerave moisturising cream. I am religious with my tretinoin .1%. I interchange pyunkang yup toner and skin 1004 centella toning toner . This pretty much my night routine. Mornings, I use BOJ sunscreen/ verdio moist. 55 year old Brown Filipino. 😊

Thank you for this channel; has been invaluable to me. Love your Trio Blemish wash but feels like formula has changed recently? Would love to see a volume shampoo for oily hair and a bigger selection of products for oily/acne prone skin (i.e., I am 60 so while I have oily, acne prone skin still, now dealing with wrinkles also). Also would love a lip balm and a hand cream.

Hey Dr. V, Vanicream also came with a new daily facial moisturizer. It's named as Ceramides and Hyaluronic acid moisturizer from Vanicream for Sensitive skin. And they also came with a Vitamin C serum in which they added your favorite form of Vitamin C which is THD. You should definitely check that out and if possible do let us know what you feel about it.

Would your advice be the same for brown skinned people who live in tropical countries (such as the Philippines) as regards moisturizing? I have been hearing differing opinions on this. Hi Dr V another great informative video the only issue is I have dry and sensitive and hyperpigmentation and suffer with eczema and I was using aveeno however only last year when I used it I broke out in hives and found out I’m allergic to the oats and wheat and now have been using zeroderm by the dr and it’s not helping at all with my eczema or hyperpigmentation. The dr really cannot give me anything else I was wondering if you’d have any good suggestions and cheaper options ❤

I use unseen sunscreen and have noticed my cheeks getting lighter. Prior to that I used black girl sunscreen and experienced the same thing. Why is that? I am African American with lots of melanin. BTW….I don’t use any actives during the day and I use the ordinary products you suggested for hyperpigmentation. 😊

I only usually use Korean and Japanese creams, but from the drugstore there are only two I like, the LRP Cica plast balm for PM, and the ELF holy Hydration fragrance free cream. I also remember the Versed moisturiser was really nice, as was the Aveeno oat gel cream but they were not hydrating enough for me. I prescribe Certreben a lot, such a great cream, I use it on my body, and also the Aveeno dermexa creams

The reason you have dandruff is because you have an oily scalp. If this is the case, you might be a person who needs to wash their hair daily. Everyone’s scalp is unique and not everyone should wash their hair three times a week for example. It’s a case by case basis. Head&Shoulders have a new formula which they claim gets rid of 100% dandruff which if they wasn’t confident about, they couldn’t use as they should get sued. An alternative is Neutrogena’s T/Gel

Dr. V, the aveeno daily moisturizing lotion and other aveeno lotions in a pump here in Canada have Benzyl Alcohol in it but it’s in the very bottom of the ingredients list. Is it still okay to use for dry skin? 2:34

I’m currently using the Cerave moisturising cream as recommended by you but it makes my skin look dull and feels a bit uncomfortable on the skin, is this normal or is it just my skin? I’m around your age and my skin is not producing as much sebum. I would say I have dry/combo skin which feels dry and looks dull especially at this time of the year. I also use products from the Sukin range available at Boots, please could you do a review on these products?

I started using dr v hair line full products and almost around 2 months or less, my scalp became so itchy and irritated. I had to start nizoral shampoo, still using your conditioner and have one spare shampoo bottle.
