Ti West has certainly come a long way since The Roost! His career has been a mixed bag of great and not-so-great, but he's been a major force since X. Looking forward to bigger things for Ti, that's for sure!

I thought that she was meant to resemble the older version of Pearl while in the mold and that was partially why she was so uncomfortable, because youth means so much to her. But they didn’t mention it so I guess that it’s just me.

It's so funny because I LOVE the Maxxine trailer, but I don't want to watch a scary movie. and the trailer made it look like it was a regular non scary movie about an actress that worked in the movie industry, and I was so sad that it's scary because the movie that the trailer looked like doesn't exist.

So glad they chose to break down this scene -- it was definitely one of the strongest moments of the film for me. I think the immediate connection with X and Pearl in this moment is what made it feel so cohesive. I wish the rest of the film leaned more into Maxine's trauma with Pearl
