I think a woman was the one that pointed the inconsistency but I’m glad I’m not alone. It’s usually totally subconscious! But I feel bad taking to older people with a tone in my voice… and I change it up again when I’m mad because I don’t want to sound sweet when I’m trying to get a point across! Lmao

She honed in on an important aspect of personality: it’s not who we are. Yes, it’s genuine, but it’s a combination of survivable mechanisms we’ve learned or had to use or exert to succeed in life. So when she called herself out on her voice, she knows her outward self isn’t who she is. Kudos.

I’ve been following Julia for a while now on IG and everywhere I come across her videos she’s just so down to earth. Breath of fresh air because she’s just such a genuine person.
