VANLIFE ARTIST | Day In The Life

2 жыл бұрынA typical day in my camper-van, Skye. This is the first time I've filmed a whole "day in the life" video, so I hope it gives you an idea about what life is like when I'm on the road. Today was about slow mornings, long walks on the beach, and some reflection and journalling, a bit of time on the water, and of course, some drawing!

I highly recommend doing daily "Morning Pages" as recommended by Julia Cameron in her books "The Artist's Way" and "The Vein of Gold." I find that when I do my morning pages every morning, every day turns out to be a better day than without them! It helps clear my mind of whatever happened the previous day, and focus my mind on what I want for the current day. I have seen other artists (and just other people in general) doing them and feeling similarly! I enjoyed your video!

Aw I really enjoyed this! My friend and I bought a classic camper van to do up but it's definitely proving to be a bigger job than we anticipated! I can't wait til we get to the point where we can just go away and have everything we need. We want to decorate our interior to show off our artistic talents. I'm loving your youtube and insta!

That is simply beautiful and so glad that we actually saw you do some of your days in person! It’s a great reminder to create those moments all through my week - the walk with a mug of tea is one of my favourites that I will add to my week. I would love to add the swim in the sea but we’d have to move for that one! I am going to have a swoosh down a river later though 😁 🏊♀️Thanks for creating and sharing your talents. X

Ughh that view looks amazing ^_^ I too take many breaks in my day and I think it's too much to constantly be painting all the time. Need a break from all the intense focusing! I wonder what our brain looks like when we are painting? I make so many decisions in the moment. Thanks for sharing your day with us! Love relaxing vlogs like these :) all the best

I love your videos, and I totally get you, on the should have could have. It helps, when you are not identifying with your thought. Talking to your brain like to a child, with love and healthy boundaries. We are not our brain, our brain is an organ, you could say tool to live and survive.
