One of the nicest pieces of news in this still young year 2024 was when I heard that Charlotte was doing better. I, and I'm sure many others here, were seriously worried. This disease is not to be trifled with. I'm glad to see you all together in front of the camera again. And once again a very special shout out to the brave fighter Charlotte. ❤️

There was a video that I seen several months back where a solo female van dweller had gotten the same thing as Charlotte. Turned out that she had moisture and mold behind the walls in her van. You may want to check that out while you are workimg on your van. I would hate to see her get sick again thinking it was from a public shower and later find out that it was your home making her sick. I am so glad she is ok and you are back.

In February of 2019 I contracted Legionnaires' Disease working under a house where the bacteria was in the soil. I was down and out for 8 days in ICU hallucinating and in an induced coma. They gave me some of the most powerful antibiotics available. My feet were swollen, my muscles all atrophied and I was declared a Fall Risk. I had to rehab to be able to even stand on my own. Then more therapy to walk around with a Walker. It took around 8 to 10 weeks to get fully recovered where I could get around on my own. So I know exactly what you went through Charlotte. I am so glad you are completely recovered. And I am glad I was in a position to contribute to the Air B and B. Best wishes with the new channel. I will be watching.

First, I want to welcome back Charlotte in, fortunately, good health. Don't think to much about what could have happened, I would say to Charlotte. You have survived this horrific disease. Look forward to the future. Second ; Now I am going to be personal, don't read if you can't handle this. My father died, aged 35, when I was young, aged 10 on a brain tumor. Now some 4 decades ago. I could actually feel the pain from Ame and Rob while Charlotte was fighting for her live in hospital. I am so glad for the both of them that Charlotte has survived! With love from the Netherlands...... ❤

I put a post on your daughter's post. My father died of legioneers disease in 1991. He got it from syphoning water when changing our rv's water heater.please be safe!! Godspeed

Glad everything is alright. This helped me psychologically, as I had some family losses and near losses recently, it's easy to become jaded. But seeing Charlotte make it out okay is a good reminder to me that sometimes everything can be okay and not everything is doom and gloom.

Dear Charlotte and Robert, I’ve just finished watching all your video clips including Amy’s. You are such a nice and natural family. Robert, you should be proud of Charlotte. Charlotte, Robert is such a nice chap. The most touching video footages were when you, Charlotte told us about why you started vanlife and how you felt about it in the ski resort and this one is also very touching when talking about your „experiences” in hospital. I can’t tell you how good you are at filming (in a natural way). You and Amy both have a good sense for finding the appropriate background music and finding the proper angle for shooting. Great to hear your back to good health charlotte as your 2024 was shit too im not alone as we both had a heap of issues 2 we bought a puppy after 2 months of losing our family dog back in sept of 2023 and the puppy was riddled with multiple mites so while the wife worked over xmas i cuddled an played with the pup being a man who suffers with arachnophobia being covered in mites was not to good and these things caused me an the wife to sleep in separate rooms an every time i tried to sleep these mites would attack causing me to not sleep having never suffered from sleep depravation or mental issues which ive never suffered from hit me hard probably didnt sleep many hours over 3 months an never thought i would ever feel like shooting myself but i did feel like ending it oh by the way i dont have a gun by the way lol but my wife kept me going an now there all gone but my skin is screwed after rubbing prescription creams with pesticides an other toxic crap has caused over sensitive skin but anyway the puppy is over it too but me an you both had a shit start happy to see u both again and we missed u both xx from me an the wife

Great video & exciting new project for you guys. Nice to see Charlotte in full recovery. I also had a major health scare & literally returned from beyond the grave. Paramedics worked on me for 23 minutes & it took 6 shots of the defibrillator to get me back. I then spent 3 days on life support. Fortunately I wasn't conscious for any of it & no memory of the pain I went through. Although the recovery process is no picnic.

The whole life can change in a heartbeat! Best wishes from Germany! ❤️

Three months later and it’s still rough to talk about. I’m so glad you’ve recovered. Unexpected and serious illnesses are so scary. I wish your family’s situation would allow for 3-months a year or so of staying in a home, in part to give you time to deep clean, repair, and upgrade your vans. A chance to recharge.

Glad to hear everything is good now and Charlotte is back on her feet thankfully. really looking forward to the new channel sounds an adventure in itself.
