Thanks! Yep rookie error on the flexible panel. I think I’m just going to bite the bullet and get regular panels. I’ve been without panels for like 4 months now!!

Make sure you have an air gap between the flexible panel and the roof of your van! That way the heat can escape and not overheat the panel :-)

Ya it’s a lead acid battery. I just figured since the roof vent was always open and the seals on the back doors are drafts I’d be ok?

@@adamruzzo Traditionally, yeah. It'd vent itself through the roof fan or each time you open the back. Chemically, while charging, it produces hydrogen and oxygen. So basically unless you were snowed in, had everything sealed up tight for days, never got out to pee, ect. And then fired up your stove or candles or bong or whatever, yeah if the fumes didn't get ya the explosion 💥 would. But I'm no expert, ask Alexa what she says 🤪 I'm into car audio and they say having wet cell lead acid batteries in the trunk is bad. To use lithium but they're a bit expensive. So maybe that'd be an option down the road? I guess if you have no side affects, you should be fine. Just tryna look out for ya🤟 Can't wait to see some more vidz!
