This was good Van, but I recommend Extreme Post-Its for the car kit. They're weatherproof and stick even better (made of a plastic-y paper like money, the adhesive holds on to anything). They can still be written on with pencil pen etc too. I kept one on the side of my messenger bag for several weeks as a durability test.

Absolutely phenomenal choice to use a Klein zipper bag. I work in the trades and slowly overtime you find out about exceptional tools and products through work. But I truly appreciate you sharing your curated collection of some of the best “stuff.” The typewriter and it’s case, your pencil and how to modify it, Swiss Army knife, the list can go on and on. Thank you Van

As a Landcruiser owner (well two land cruisers, 80 and 100), I would love to see your other kit. On a side note, don't feel the need to continue putting out two videos per week. Many KZfaq channels have succeeded but continuing with quality of quantity. Don't burn your self out... Just the two cents of a random KZfaq subscriber.

That is a fantastic idea actually. Many people like good ideas or concepts, but never take the time to BUILD kits like this. There is a company called "Justin Case" that makes several different roadside emergency kits. Van could carry a whole line of tool kits with all the items on this video.

if you head to home depot, they sell the Klein Bank Pouches Van uses , they sell it in white. You know what you have to do. Paint over the logo, and in precise detail, draw on the spirited man logo. All for $13 you can have your own spirited man kit! That said, if these were officially made from Van/SM, i'd go that route just to support him.

Vet Tape. It can temporarily hold an arm in place if someone broke their collarbone and quick fix a KTM front light when you dump your bike. Just some of the things I’ve used it for.

Every year I give my family themed gifts, usually for their cars since everyone drives and practicality is always welcomed. This coming Christmas, I’m using this video as a primer to create each family member their own center console kit. I’ll use really nice bags to upscale a little. Thanks for this. 😎👍🏼

I like your practical gift approach. I got eye rolls one year for giving my family good quality flashlights for their gloveboxes, but I'd bet they use that flashlight often! The gift that keeps giving! A tip for you since I have two kits in my car...the best kind of case opens by zipper around the perimeter...like a suitcase. No need to dump it all out on the car seat and risk losing an item between the seats. Simply select tool and put it all back, mine allows complete access (flip open lid) to any tool without dumping. Toiletry, makeup or "travel" cases sometimes come with this perimeter zipper design, and even some sturdier kids zipper lunch boxes work too.

Good kit! I keep a mtb multi tool in kits also. And head lamps in every vehicle. Roll of E tape. Roll of paper towels. Non potable water(can drink in extreme emergency) some honey packets cause your brain needs some sugar if stranded. Zip ties. Self sealing silicone tape for a bonus. Wooden dowel rod under back seat cause why not. Extra socks and flip flops stashed. Tire plugs in every car/truck + hand pump for bonus

For the Post-It users, please try out the FULL STICK version--instead of just one strip with adhesive the full back is covered except a narrow stip at the bottom by which to lift them. Extremely useful for leaving notes but also as temporary tape. Also, I think every car kit needs a flashlight.

If I can recommend one thing, it’s the Fiskars scissor sharpener. It takes nicks out of blades. I got mine at Staples many years ago, and I’ve sharpened and re-sharpened dozens of pairs of scissors, no wear on the sharpener.

98% of that stuff would never be used in my car. I live in a northern climate, so a good car kit consists of a snow shovel & cat litter. So, you can dig your car out of the snow when it gets stuck, and the cat litter is for weighing down the back end for traction.
