The transmission in the carbon has over $200 of upgrade parts in it too. Lightweight machined 21% OD gears, lightweight front gears, aluminum motor plate, aluminum slipper eliminator, and aluminum bearing plates. Also the RTR has once piece sintered ring and pinion so you can’t change gearing without buying a spool too. I have a few Carbons and a Stance RTR and they are both great but I prefer the carbon

As an out of the box RTR …. it’s a BEAST! Pretty sick climbs over some aggressive rocks for sure. Again I have to remind myself that it’s that capable box stock 😮!! Nothing out there can crawl like that out the box. Hopefully 🤞🏻 more options come out from other companies. It just makes growing the crawling hobby that much easier for beginners.

@@the-ab-outdoors I’m Yes keeping it stock would be difficult 😆. I think 🤔 thicker links is a must. Thinking about getting one just to have beginners try it in stock form. RTRs up to this point have been usually pretty piss poor with the electrical components. Really cool to see a company actually offering a RTR that doesn’t need upgrades right after you buy it

I don't know my personal opinion I've noticed that putting too much overdrive can really hurt you also wouldn't you just throw their heavy brass on the front end since the truck is already so light if it's got 24 to 25 overdrive I would think that would really help but maybe it does need 30 if not better

The overdrive is a preference thing that suites my driving style. You're absolutely correct, and that's what makes this hobby so fun, is the ability to customize your truck to work how you want it!! I wouldn't put the heavy brass in the front, if I did change the weights it would be for the light brass, and the weight would also increase with a better servo. 🍻🍻

That's awesome and I've heard a lot of good about this truck so far I don't know about the brass links though they dig into rocks pretty bad what I've noticed I really like the titanium titanium is so hard that it slides a little bit better 30 to 40% how is your side here

They measure the same length as the VS410 Pheonix - I will likely get some that fit that - 105mm threat - 2 - thread OR 140mm from screw center to screw center 🍻🍻

No sir, but it is only a 15 dollar setup that works for rtr, but not a good radio for more serious competitors. 🍻🍻

Potentially it would, but I wouldn’t go too heavy personally it would probably cause more issues than help 🍻🍻
