I'm skating them now and I'm curios to hear their opinion. I usually skate padded shoes so skating a simple shoe like the Figueroas was at first weird, but surprisingly I liked them very much.

Soles are solid as fuck shoe has good protection and feels like a vulc almost. Only thing I hated about them was that the toecaps became square

Love this guy. You should review HUF Dylan's next! The lace-up leather ones, I have them and they're incredible - they skate really well, have an insanely durable sole and you can wear them to work

If you need shoes to have an identity then you need some serious help. I like them because they're comfortable, they skate well and they're versatile. Who cares about the brand? These are shoes, not jewellery. I need a workhorse that can last me day in day out and that's all I care about.

Most sk8ters know to buy a half to full size too small so after they break in....they fit perfect and don`t do what happened to this guy.

Thank you. That's what I said in my post. It's clear as day the shoe he wore was a full size maybe 1.5 too large. The more I think about this, the more I wanna go buy this shoe, in this color, and disprove all these odd comments

+Christian Flores you took out the ultracush insole, that had some considerable height to it, and replaced it with your own. I could see how that alone might add to a soggy, loose fitting shoe. My apologies if someone mentioned this already.

Couple things: 1. I suggest you not "buy" the Rapidweld LITE if there wasn't enough padding to your liking. It's like ordering a Whopper Jr and saying there wasn't enough beef. well duh. What did you expect. So go grab the Rapidweld. Not the Rapidweld LITE. 2. You don't like the color? You basically are admitting indirectly that you didn't buy this... Or either you were told you would get reimbursed.3. You were wearing a size too large on your feet. And maybe that's how you wear your shoes but that's not how it's supposed to be worn. And im pretty sure it doesn't warp like that at least as much, with proper sized shoe. 4. Your tone from the outset was slightly sarcastic and def anti-vans. You need to work on your poker face. Thanks for the video. *i personally wasn't a fan of this shoe til you wore them. They look right on.

I would love to see these videos with your shoe size being a controlled variable in every review. Say you're a size 9, no matter what you buy size 9 shoes and let viewers know if the shoe fits tighter or wider, how much toe room there is or whatever and based off of your normal fit you can recommend buying sizes bigger or smaller. I've noticed when I wear Adidas I have a lot less toe room than Vans in the same size. I happen to prefer that. These types of things might be helpful if not to just me. I commented the same thing on the Busenitz review and got no replies from Ride or viewers so commenting again in hopes for any response on whether or not it's a good suggestion!

Anyways your reviews are really nice! And that surprised me that those vans last, because all Vans I could have they rip really fast and the insole suck! That "ultracush" insole is a crap! The only heel bruise I got was with a Vans Rowley shoe :T

Too many of these shoe review videos have convinced me he is wearing too large a size... or has a pretty weird low volume foot, due to the way a lot of them end up needing to be tied so damn tight, resulting in a warped shoe. The one and only scenario I have ever seen where the same thing happens is oversizing.. and that's after 10 whole years (exactly 10 down to the month) running a boardshop with a partner, and skating since 1992. Great videos, great skating - just noticing this repeatedly.
