Been playing Vantage ever since she came out, so it's nice to see someone cover her so thoroughly! Though I am pretty sure her passive tells you about the whole squad though-- maybe I'm mistremembering, but if you ping an enemy with it, info on the whole squad's legends and shields pops up in the killfeed. I would also like her ult to ping targets you hit like a mirage decoy though, so my teammates will actually play off of the debuff it applies. :')

Been maining Vantage this last season. Yes, she is a hybrid movement/recon legend. Just a few things: her bullet drop passive is great for low skill players to hit long range headshots with a Longbow/Skullpiercer combo or amped Sentinel. Easy third parties from a distance on a squad trying to heal up after wiping another squad. Her ult can shoot doors open at the handle too.

*Explanation of Vantage passive. For those who wish to know about it deeper. Please read!! Explanation for other Vantage abilities? Please ask in Comments/Replies!!* You can actually tell what the enemy players are with Vantage passive. It’s more reading than verbally said in a voice line. So comms are way better on Vantage. It also only works either unarmed aim down sights or by using 2X optic or higher Zoom value. But not 1-2X circle optic. 2-4X & 4-8X are okay though. (Look to 10:44 paused while reading for following to make more sense. While the video shows Bangalore. I will be using different legend names. Please keep this in mind. For more complexity, look to 14:29 & see if you can spot when the legend name changes within the passive ui. BTW, It changes 4+ times!!) When pinging enemy players. In the upper right (if you have killfeed turned on) shows what Legend (say Pathfinder) wrapped in eg level 3 shields (Purple Armour). Without pinging. It shows the legend name right above the evo shields within the scanner ui. Say 2 players in the squad with Purple & Gold armour (with 3 it gets more complex, for simplicity, I’ll talk of 2). You hover over Pathfinder. It shows a Purple armour icon with Gold next to it. This indicates the Pathfinder you’re looking at has Purple armour, then hover over Valkyrie walking abit behind Pathfinder it now displays Gold armour followed by Pathfinders Purple armour. The name above the armour now changes to Valkyrie’s character name instead of Pathfinder in the passive to signify who exactly you’re looking at that’s wearing the Gold armour. Then you turn to focus on a gunfight they’re running towards and you notice a Seer ult. But don’t know where Seer is. By looking for those names or pinging a player. It’ll display exactly who you’re looking at & what armour they have to know before even shooting a weapon if it favours your squad. Would be amazing if respawn could change the voiceline to say what legend it is you’re looking at. But hey, at least it gets a voice-line. SECRET TIP FOR THOSE WHO READ THIS FAR. If you can’t see where a player is within the passive. Using the ping button it places a marker exactly where they are at the time you ping. Can’t see where someone is inside a dark building? Ping them & move your aim right over the marker and let it rip.

Her passive is great for shooting legends hiding in bang smoke. Sights 2x or higher will put a box around enemies so just aim to the center of that box and shoot. Passive also works when you have guns holstered, good for recon cause it gives you 3x zoom. Great for finding the rats in season 17 lmao

When u mark an enemy she does ping what character it is. Just isnt part of her voice line. She only voices the shield and number or enemies. But if u read the ping top right it will say what character downside is I have to ping each one

I just started this game this current season. I played rainbow 6 for 7 years and was a top 100 player for 5 of those years until I just started losing the urge to play. I started apex because a friend recommended it and he knows I love competitive games with a rank mode. I’ve already hit plat 2 solo q and playing with my boy on pc (I’m console I know how you feel about that so I’m sorry 😂😂) but my question is how do I find people in this game? Like I know it’s my first season and p2 is probably a lot better than 99% of people could achieve in their first ever season but I really want to make that diamond/master push and eventually hit pred but I don’t think I can do it without a team (atleast anytime soon) so how do I go about finding good teammates? Is that just a luck of draw thing in this game while solo q? Lmfao
