A question I would like to pass off to the viewers here, for 20700 and 21700 batteries, which charger do you prefer. I don't like how tight they fit in a Luc charger, but after trying a Pro C4 and the C4 by AWT, I'm left thinking there has got to be a better performing charger out there.

Maniacal Vapes Gyrfalcon all 88. IMR batteries has them in stock right now. Fits everything. Only charger I'll use. Now on to my question lol. Do you know if the HOG 4 fits 30T's? I ordered it and the Valhalla. And 8 30T's under the impression that it will take them. After checking around I'm not so sure now.

According to Vapez Cloud, this was before the HOG 4 was released, this was designed to be a 20700 battery mod, with limited 21700 acceptance. It has since changed to a 21700 battery mod according to their description. So I do not have any info on 21700 battery fit guidelines for this mod. I have only used it with 20700 batteries so far. According to IMR batteries these spec out to 21.1mm x 70.2mm.

Gyrfalcon All - 88. It can charge 8 cells at 1amp each. Other 8 cell chargers have a 4amp limit (8 cells at 0.5 amp).

Maniacal Vapes, charger wise I have the Nitecore D4, Golisi S4 and ThruNite MCC 4S they all basically have the same dimensions Personally haven’t found anything better yet

That big boy on the new Hammer casts a mighty shadow in the video. Friggin' crazy big set-up! Love the Hammer series because of the fact that along with the better battery life aspect, giant rda's actually almost look normal on it. Great video - I've been thinking about buying one but your video is making me think twice. Good to get some insight on this thing because as of the moment you have the only review on youtube that I could find so I hadn't even gotten a good look at it until I watched this. Cheers!

Best charger IMO is the Opus bt-c3100 and yes 20700 batteries fit. Also eFest they suck, get the Vapcell Gold with black lettering 3200 mAh for they hit and perform well. With that said the HOG V4 is a complete failure for one very big reason. Not only is the spring tension obscenely tense the spring assembly is press fitted in which I also confirmed with Vaperz Cloud. A switch that is not serviceable without breaking the switch is a major design flaw for we all know that the switch needs to be serviced for springs collapse (not to mention other reasons). For me this has turned into a $225 paperweight.

I have Vapecell 21700's for mine and they fit🙂 and the coloured versions are supposed to be released sometime in July.

Found out the same with the batteries 20700 I use in the dreamer don’t hold up with the 18650 or definitely not with the 21700...all in one mod makes a great comparison. Using the 20700 in the El Thunder there they are ok. How ever the hardest hit of all my mech mods I get with the OMEN from New Zealand with a 18650 battery.

I'd love to get my hands on a v4, just to have one. I've got a fat boy, but it's never been a terribly good atty to me because of the huge chamber, tall Wise. I made a 4s lipo box to get the most out of it and it was a let down. I do fully enjoy th 40 Mason, but for some reason I don't like fatty. It's a cool looking piece though and I've thought about getting the Colorado, but I'm afraid I would never use it,. And I like to use my shit regardless of size or whatever.

I have 20700 Sanyo Bs, My Freedom Smoke usually has a good deal on them, and they work great in my Serial Box by Deathwish Mods. I get over 24 hours with them. I also have a couple Ijoy re-raps by VRK they run a little hot and I tend to burn my cotton so I have yet to find the sweet spot when I am using my Serial Box with those. I am a fan of 20700 and 21700 in my single battery mods; Regulated or not. Thank you for the video on the HOG 4

Bryan Kramer Mooch did a bunch of testing on the efest 20700/21700 and they're fantastic performing batteries. They beat the ijoy equivalent. Just because they're rewraps doesn't mean they're bad batteries. At all.

Short answer yes. Long answer, If I could find something of similar build quality and power output, then I would probably go with the other. The button just annoys me to no end.

try and find your self some sanyo A 20700 batts, vapecell did a rewrap but there hard to come by these days. most people rant an rave for them.

I ended up getting some Ampking 20700 batteries a few days later, and they are infinitely better than the efest.

I have the sanyo B's and they are pretty damn good batteries. I want to get some As but I haven't been able to get ahold of any, I definitely prefer 20700s over 18650s

Those are the Gold w/white lettering, the Gold w/black lettering 3200 mAh ones are excellent

Is there a color difference between mood and doors or is this camera tricking my eye? Honestly, I personally think that the 3.2 in the Trinity edition was the best looking one. All the doors and the gaps because of them ... I don't know. I like the super clean look of 3.x better. In the other hand ... IT FITS A 47 ATTY! you know about the other colors already?

I noticed the door thing as well, and looking at it irl i don't see any color difference. Vaperz Cloud has been putting up pictures on social media is how I know about color versions. There is also what looks to be a scratch next to the button, just a scuff, it wiped off after the video.

Jason what were the issues with the v3?? I personally prefer the look of the v3s also but this seems to be a upgrade with the way the bats go in and the contacts. Not to mention it can run 20700 and 21700s I guess?? I get conflicting info on the 21700s do you know if it can fit the 40 and 30ts.?

Hey Dane, thanks for watching and commenting. I will address the issues I personally have had with the V3, and let other share their own issues. The first and foremost problem is they vent rather easily. It of coarse is not the mods fault, but it is a VERY unforgiving mod. The smallest of nick in your battery wrap can cause a full on vent. Personally done it. I know ultimately it comes down to user error, but not everyone has batteries that are pristine, and if they are not your chances of venting is greatly increased. The other issue is with the contacts and spring. The spring can collapse easily and the contacts can act kinda wonky at times, not making a good connection and such. Even being an experienced vapor, this mod can be a bit much to deal with.

Yea not happy about what the battery tray does to the fucking battery wraps after one damn use. They really fucked the springs up in those contacts who wraps get completely fucked after ONE USE its nuts
