The reason is why the Harry Story bootleg is so weird is because Hummer Team just took one of their another bootlegs. the one that was based on the Titanic movie and just changed the story and edited the sprites a bit so it would look like Harry. so all the levels in the game are actually supposed to be the Titanic which is slowly sunking in the ocean. it just so happened that the Titanic bootleg was discovered much later than Harry Story.

Interesting you mention some of the games have a old PC feel; this cheer tech cart is known for having bootleg ports of C64 games for some reason

I wonder if the jiggly nipples were added for the bootleg too... (Also, the ROM on reset cycles through {44, 44, 44, 76, 128, 5000} in the total count, probably repeating the game list in a pattern like other multi-cart bootlegs.)

as crappy as these chinese “insert number here” in 1 cartridges are, sometimes you can pick up a hidden gem. Personally, I own a GBA one that includes just about every mario related game released on the system, and the emulation is PERFECT! Just don’t tell daddy Nintendo. The shittier ons filled with romhacks are a whole lot more entertaining though.

I grew up with one of those for my generic cartridge console, it had the entire genesis and NES/SNES library and it was almost perfect. Sure it repeated some games but everything was there and without it I probably wouldn't have grown up with games.

what's weird with the number on the title screen is that it was cycling (44 5 times in a row, then 76, then 128, then 5000), and none of the other numbers are even multiples of 44

Love the fact Joel went onto TVTropes for the arkanoid segment. I lost a shit ton of hours on that website. Also, Arkanoid is so overly complex lore wise.
