Frank Dempsey explains how using a photoelectric photometer is still used in the study of variable stars. Frank is a member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Toronto Centre and presented this talk at the November 1, 2023 Recreational Astronomy Night held at the Ontario Science Centre.
