@@fangirl4206 depends on which universe but in most the designation of X is given to only government super soldier programs, in some stories they make reference to Captain America as X-1. Super soldier programs get either put on the back burner or gets shelved till someone comes along and started the program back up under new leadership, new scientists and new experimental projects. So James Hudson isn't an X-project, not sure about his son Dakken, haven't read those yet but I'm fairly sure he's a biological son and not a clone.

From how I understand it, it'd be extra hard to cut through since her healing factor is a little better than wolverine and if a limb is severed she'd probably regrow up to her claw and then retrieve the adamantium bits like Deadpool does with his limbs as depicted in Wolverine vs. Hulk. The funny thing is that Superman has a legacy character like that too. The Kon-El Superboy was created as a government experiment that had the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor.

Shanin was a natural born child misused as a child assassin later becoming the protege/pupil of the older hero with similar past. That Superboy, as far as I know has the same creation story, but I think he leaks the time as child assassin. No Batmen expert, but as far as I know Damien is from a assassin family line (being at least partially abnormally born), did some child assassination, and later became the protege/pupil of the hero? he would certainly be most similar to Laura.

Kaefer1973 Damien is only technically older than the other brainwashed "killer kid" characters if we retroactively count the son of Bruce and Talia featured in Son of the Demon, Brotherhood of the Bat, and Kingdom Come which were all considered non-canon until Grant Morrison soft retconned him back in due to Grant's "everything is canon in some way or another" policy. The modern Damien Wayne that we know didn't really exist until Grant Morrision wrote him in during the mid 2000's. In Son of the Demon the baby died in the womb. In Brotherhood of the Bat and Kingdom Come he doesn't start fighting evildoers until he is an adult. Under that same logic I also argue that the Mr. Freeze we know was the invention by Paul Dini and Mike Mignola for Batman: The Animated Series. Though a character with the same look, name, and gimmick existed prior to then, he was not well defined and very different until Dini gave him a personality, motive, drive and backstory. So how I look at it Cassandra Cain, X-23, and Hit-Girl all predate him. And it can be argued that these killer kid heroes were inspired by killer kid villains which date back even further.
