Another Fandom that admired and loved him was the mma community. He took martial arts to heart and loved mma. Him.being a ranger (two of my top rangers the green and white) and loving mma made him a bad ass to me as a kid growing up. Dude was an inspiration and had a big part in my childhood. First of R.I.P. Jason David Frank you are a legend. As much as I love Batman and Nightwing this is a stomp for the Green Ranger. - A Power Rangers base strength is calced at over 12,500 tons as shown by MMPR Yellow in the comics. (Keep in mind all Power Rangers scale to each other except for a few exceptions who are stronger) - Ranger casually dodge light and lightning based attacks and have been able to keep up super powered cars at full speed. Plus he can teleport away in a pinch. - Tommy also has his dagger which can summon a force field that the Red Ranger had trouble with breaking. And he has survived a explosion with a yield of over 500 tons of tnt. Nightwing while he could match Tommys speed, he just couldn't match Tommy in strength or even damage him. If Tommy didn't hold back he'd demolish Nightwing.

My sister and I met JDF twice at Alabama Comic Con. He was always kind to us. He told me that he loved our energy. He told me to keep being myself and never change who I am. I still can’t believe he’s gone. It’s heartbreaking. RIP JDF🥺🥺😢😢💔💔💔💔

Wow this is the most one-sided match ever. Green ranger has been tanking City busting attacks daily, and has the physical strength to leap over a skyscraper. Rangers are connected to the morphing grid, a stockpiling power source that collects all of the experience of every previous ranger before them. Billy is canonically impotent and has no fighting ability at all, but he becomes a lethal weapon when he morphs. According to the comics, they become actually smarter, and they have buffs to literally all of their stats to superhuman levels. The strength required to do the jumps that they do would be 150 times that of nightwings. This is the most ridiculous lowball challenge there is. Put the Green ranger against Wonder woman, and come back later.

Absolutely love the tribute to JDF. For most of us….he was the epitome of what it meant to be a Power Ranger. Nicely done. That being said. While I agree more often than not this would be a close fight…..I think 8/10 times Grayson takes it. Dick is not a great fighter like Tommy. He’s the best of the best. Able to fight Batman/Deathstroke/Ras/Lady Shiva either to a standstill or straight up win. You mentioned the power level difference but you never once mentioned Nightwings elite strategic planning or his ability to adapt. I think if they meet with no one knowing what the other can do….initially Tommy would have the edge due to the power. My guess is that even if that happened Nightwing takes a step back before he loses and regroups and plans the next phase. The second you give Grayson the ability to plan, adjust and adapt (which is what makes him elite on most levels) he would not only win the fight….my bet is that he would incapacitate Tommy and/or make him realize he should be fighting with him. Graysons intellect and his mastery in battle strategy would win this battle almost every time. Think about it…would you list Bruce as the winner between Tommy and Batman? Of course at least the majority of the time. That means Grayson wins the majority of the time also. The difference being Bruce would have him in jail….while Dick would end up leading Tommy into some other battle. Oh and if Tommy can have the zord…Dick gets the Batmobile and Batplane. Great video….👍🏻

Tommy Oliver has been my favorite Ranger since his debut in Mighty Morphin as the Legendary Green Ranger. My favorite form is the White Ranger with the Tigerzord. Damn it’s tragic that JDF is gone. 😰

Still can't believe it, THIS GUY LITERALLY MADE A REAL LIFE HERO, from UFC to loving his role. This hurt so much with him and Chester from Linkin Park before that. I just hate how bright lights burn out so fast and if I had heard this as a younger man, it just stack on how much I resented the world. Really sucked that I always figured Tommy was Native American so I looked up to the guy, so I enlisted and even though I sport Purple (my favorite color) I always added Green and White out respect to Tommy, its so tough after all this time. I always believed that the Green Ranger form was Tommy's strongest form in terms of raw power. It doesn't have much in the way of unique abilities like the other ranger forms, but it's just overall the strongest in terms of it's raw power. The only downside it had AT THE TIME, was the fact it was limited by Rita's influence and faded away. So it was unstable at the time (Though he later regained the powers.) The White Ranger was more stable and still technically the strongest ranger form he had. Because of its unique abilities. The Zeo Red Ranger was a bit weaker, but it had the capacity to grow in terms of power endlessly, making it easily the overall most powerful form he'd ever have. But the downside is? That power, as it grows, holds a danger of harming the user. Turbo? Not sure really. I'd say it was his overall weakest form. Dino Thunder however was his most versatile form. The one that had more tricks to it than raw power. Though it can be seen as STILL the strongest of the Dino Thunder forms.

Aaron I like your match ups most the time. Power rangers are power cosmic and Dick is a street level hero. What were you thinking?
